Hey, Buddy, Can You Spare a Conspiracy?

The good people of New York City are recoiling in horror over the statement made by newly hired and then fired New York City Fire Department Muslim Chaplin Imam Intikab Habib. Habib stated: "I've heard professionals say that nowhere ever in history did a steel building come down with fire alone. It takes two or three weeks to demolish a building like that. But it was pulled down in a couple of hours," he said. "Was it 19 hijackers who brought it down, or was it a conspiracy?" Note that the Imam never identifies the hijackers as Muslim.

Imam Habib’s statement is not a surprise. What is a surprise is that there are Americans that are surprised by his statement. Conspiracy theories abounded from every front before the second tower fell. These theories range from the absurd to the vaguely plausible—if the Starship Enterprise was in a geosynchronous orbit at the time.

A favorite theory is that it was not planes that hit the towers, but sophisticated holograms making them appear to be planes when in fact, they were cruise missiles. Another is that George Bush himself guided the planes by remote control. Believers of this theory point to the fact that Bush is a pilot. It is a mystery where Bush hid the controls in the book he was reading to the children.

The theory that the Imam refers to is a common one put forth by Muslims and leftist Americans alike. The only difference in the “detonation theory” is who carried it out and why.

If you are a Bush-hating American, the entire attack was planned and carried out by George Bush to give him an excuse to attack Iraq for its oil. If that were the case, why did Bush then go after bin Laden in Afghanistan? Why not just invade Iraq a few days after the attack?

If you are Muslim, especially an Arab Muslim, you may well believe that Israel was responsible for the attack to push the American war machine into attacking Muslims. The proof is that Muslims saw some Israeli spies dancing with joy in New Jersey as the buildings fell. How did they know these people were Israeli spies? Do spies always dance with joy in public? Perhaps they were Muslims dressed as Israeli spies and lost control and celebrated. What does an Israeli spy look like?

When it is pointed out to Muslims that there were thousands of Muslims dancing in the streets when they heard of the attack on America, it is immediately excused. Why shouldn’t Muslims celebrate? After all, Americans have traveled the world slaughtering Muslims for decades, often just for the fun of it. To an American, that statement is laughable until you realize that millions of Arab Muslims absolutely believe it.

It is unknown how many American Muslims believe this nonsensical theory, but millions of Arab Muslims believe every word of it. Islamic websites are filled with grotesque pictures and reports that the pictures are of Muslims killed by vicious, marauding American troops. The suicide bombers in Iraq are not Muslims but Americans or Israelis trying to make Islam look bad. Innocent children are mowed down by American tanks. These sites offer not one scintilla of evidence how these unfortunate people died, but if the Islam-controlled Arab media say Americans did it, then Americans must have done it.

Muslims are told that American soldiers attracted children to them with candy and then had a bomber blow the children up. This is what Arab Muslims are told and it seems a large number of Muslims believe it. It is inconceivable to many that their religious leaders would lie to them because that would be a sin in the eyes of Allah. This is what they have been taught since the day they were born.

Muslims whisper in the ears of their babies that they must always follow the laws of Islam and believe every word in the Quran. The Quran tells them that non-believers are evil and so, when they are told that evil, non-believing Christians and Jews are killing innocent Muslims all over the world, they believe it. For many, it is equally inconceivable that Muslims would participate in such evil. So when they are told that Americans have slaughtered 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians, mostly women and children, Arab Muslims are enraged.

The Islamic leaders use this brainwashing to their advantage. The Islamic terrorists can rampage, kill, and conquer, and the Islamic leaders and Arab media will blame it all on the West and Israel. This fuels the hate that Islam needs to continue the war.

As Imam Habib demonstrated, even educated Muslims are incapable of accepting the fact that Muslim terrorists hijacked airliners on 9/11 and flew them into the World Trade Center towers and that the incredible force and heat caused the towers to collapse.

One thing that has convinced many that the towers had to be brought down by a controlled detonation is that the buildings fell nearly straight down. Completely ignored are two major forces exerted on those towers. One is gravity. There was no force being exerted on the sides of the towers to make them fall over sideways and the tremendous weight had no where to go but straight down. The damage was at the top of the buildings, not the bottom. The other is that Minoru Yamasaki, the architect who designed the buildings, designed the towers to fall exactly the way that they did should the worst happen.

But uneducated Muslims don’t think of such things. Millions can’t even read. What they saw were two planes hitting two huge, steel and glass towers that must be invincible because they were built by Americans. If they fell, the Americans or Jews must have done it and it was done so that both could kill Muslims at will, destroy Islam, and take Arab oil. Don’t confuse them with facts or physics or laws of gravity because they are not interested. Many don’t understand any of it anyway.

Muslim accusations are given credence by leftists in America who claim the very same thing. What non-American Muslims don’t understand is the minor but all-important difference in the reasons for these outlandish theories. Many leftists claim Bush was the culprit because of politics. Muslims believe Israel was the culprit because of its hatred of Islam.

Islamic papers, websites, radio, and television tell the average Arab Muslim that the West is full of lying infidels who commit horrible crimes and blame them on Islam. This belief is widespread, so it should shock no one that even Muslims living in America would eventually believe it.

Islam is an all-consuming force in the life of the average Muslim. It tells them how to dress, what to eat, whom to marry, how to pray, and when to pray. Their lives revolve around Islam. When a force has that kind of power over a person, it is not hard to convince him that Muslims are oppressed and abused the world over by the West. It’s a simple matter to tell him that Islam is pure and that it is the rest of the world that is evil. Even the educated Islamic believer will question what he has seen with his own eyes and forego logic rather than accept the truth.

Imam Habib’s statement about the twin towers is a perfect example. What is shocking is that there are still Americans who do not realize that a huge number of Muslims, here and abroad, who still refuse to admit that Muslims plan and carry out murderous attacks on innocent people all over the world. Muslims are taught never to question Islam. The Quran forbids it.

Punishment awaits any who question Islam. You must believe everything Allah and his messengers tell you. Those who don't are disbelievers and will face a painful doom. Quran: Surah 4: Women
