WITH Islam, Arabs will remain locked into their thousand year torpor and never join the modern world.

I used to be a defender of Islam, a muslim who followed the faith until that fateful day I read the story of muhammed and I'm not talking about the lies that they feed you in madressah. At first I was shocked and not totally convinced until I kept digging for more and more. I started finding literature about mohamhead and pisslum the more I realised the truth about Allah and his prphets. You will find the answers here and then you too will know the real islam for the dangerous cult that it is.
Personally for me, all religion is false, I don;t care what you follow. yes, indeed Islam is the one that has the greatest potential for the danger of humankind, but any religion has the potential to be harmful to people outside of their congregations. BASIC QUESTIONS FOR MOHAMMADANS
1. What is the basis of faith in Mohammed and his Quran since what he claim that he came to confirm (the Jews scriptures) has nothing in common with his recitals collated through oral traditions many years after his death in a book call Quran. Why didn’t he put his recitals into a book before his death since his major assignment was to give the Arab a scripture like the Jews and Christians?
2. What are the proofs that Mohammed was a prophet of God, since the Quran contains no prophecy and deny Mohammed of any power to perform miracle the main qualities of a Prophet? Shouldn’t a prophet know history even if he is incapable to predict the future? He failed both in history and in prophesies why?
Copying accurately all the Jews scriptures would not have made his recitals divine but at least it will give accurate account.
3. How can one mans testimony be accepted as against the testimony of more than 40 men. Mohammed claim inspiration alone through Angel Gabriel for 23 years no witness not even any of his wives has seen the Angel who inspired him. Aisha the child wife said Mohammed only saw Angel Gabriel twice. The Bible on the other hand is the inspiration of more than 40 men which confirm each other for period of not less than 2600 years before Islam.
4. How came the pagan Army General and Ruler Alexander the Great who lived about 900 years before Islam became a Muslim prophet discovering that the sun sets in the puddle of mucky water? How can such a person know about virgins and wines in heaven and boiling water and unbelievers as firewood of hell?
10. Is it the sex appeal of 4 wives, and virgins in heaven and women subjugation by men on the earth that makes Islam thick for men? How can you bet your live on things that have no proof on earth until you die?
11. Is it not better for Muslim to believe Jesus Christ who has a better credentials in the Quran than Mohammed whom the say did not die but went to heaven and he is coming back again?. Although they did not know what Jesus taught because the Quran is ignorant of that but the Christians can help them out since the Christians have a well documented records of what he taught by not less than 8 of his disciples who gave a harmonious account of his wards and deeds. Is not better to believe a miracle worker who came from heaven and went back to heaven without committing any sin or crime that Mohammed was noted for?
12. Please Muslim don’t pride your self that you have a religion that is believed by 1.4b people so that makes it a correct religion. Listen to Jesus about who gets to heaven. Jesus is an authority about heaven he came from heaven and went back to heaven, the Quran attest to that too. Heaven is for prepared few, not majority, not even when it is polytheism wrapped in the garment of monotheism like Islam that is the majority. One funny thing about Islam is that it collated materials from almost all the major religions of Mohammed’s time into one Islam with paganism or polytheism haven the lion share about 90%. So you admit now that Christians are peaceful and your best definition of the issues is that secular ideals are a better way of running the societies in our today's world? It does not matter why or how Christians are peaceful. If you assume they are not following correct Christianity then so be it. I , myself, am an Ex-Muslim, and fortunately I was able to study the Quran very carefully when I was quite young ( about 52 years ago !! ) and come to a conclusion that what was in it did not make any sense and its teachings were confusing to me. At the time I had not considered Muhammad's own example shown by his life and actions, something I would call his ' attitude and attributes '. Had I known about his personality and how he had conducted himself, and that there was no spirituality in him what so ever, no act of kindness, no love, I would have left Islam even sooner. I do not make such statement to convert you or any one to any other faith, and I do not intend to compare or defend any other faith, although for me to be honest with you, some 26 years after I left Islam, after reading the gospels and about life and teachings of Jesus, I became Christian.

I am neither one clever with words nor a philosopher and logician, but now an old man in retirement, with 8 grand children, and concern about their future in a world awash with so much hatred. All my family are secular Muslims so I have love for Muslims in my heart, as I have respect for you and also a request. My request is to examine all those things you have been told and taught from childhood and consider their validities. It is a very easy thing to do. Do not take a position just because. Your feet are not set in concrete that you can not move.

Thank you for joining the forum. Who said I am an apologist for Christianity or Judaism? Frankly I believe both these religions originate from myths and legends. There is no more evidence for the existence of Moses and Jesus than there is for the existence of Gilgamesh. I am not denying these individuals actually existed, but what is written about them is lifted from the lore of the religions that preceded them. This is documented.

I am also not going to defend the crusaders. But in all fairness I must admit that it is thanks to them that Europe was saved and we now have a free world. Had it not been for the crusaders today the entire world would have been Islamic and of course mankind would have never come out of the Dark Age. Therefore, despite all the crimes that the crusaders committed, I have to thank them for saving the world from Islam.

You yourself admit that the west has progressed because people left religion behind and became secularists, rationalists and humanists. Then you go on to say that you want to keep Islam, a religion far more barbaric and draconian than Christianity and Judaism as your identity. I do not understand. Shouldn’t we learn from the experience of others? If abandoning religion allowed the westerners to bring about enlightenment, renascence and give birth to the modern world, why do you insist to keep Islam as your identity? Why shouldn’t we do the same, go after science, allow freedom of thought, eschew religious dogma and start our own enlightenment and renascence?
