Two Minute Points

These points expose further falsehood and ignorance mentioned in Quran.

YUSUFALI: And among His Signs, [3rd person] He shows you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope, and He sends down rain from the sky and with it gives life to the earth after it is dead: verily in that are Signs for those who are wise.

In the above verse "gives life to the earth after it is dead" indicates a basic law of biology. During the primitive days Greek philosophers believed that a living thing can be born from non-living material. That idea is called "bio genesis". They believed that fish can be born from mud when the mudd is watered. They believed that vegetation can grow from dry land when the dry land is watered. Later in the sixteenth century Louis Pasture introduced his famous theory through a practical and proved that living things can not be born through non-living things. This proven and universally admitted biological law is called "A bio gensis".

YUSUFALI: It is He [3rd person] Who sendeth the winds like heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy: when they have carried the heavy-laden clouds, We [1st person] drive them to a land that is dead, make rain to descend thereon, and produce every kind of harvest therewith: thus shall We raise up the dead: perchance ye may remember

In the above verse, look at "His mercy: when they have carried the heavy-laden clouds". During the 7th century all over the world people were astonished that how the clouds full of water are flying (they thought being full of water clouds are heavy). Now we know that hot air is the reason of evaporation. The hotter the air, the more capable to have more water vapor in it. Moreover, hot air tends to go upward being lighter. This is the start of formation of clouds. On the high altitudes, due to cool air, water vapor becomes condensed and forms in the shape of cloud. Air does not lift the heavier clouds but clouds are lighter and when they become heavier they cause rain.

"Ibn `Umar (may Allah be

"Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The keys of the Unseen are five, which no one knows except Allah: no one knows what will happen tomorrow except Allah; no one knows what is in the wombs except Allah; no one knows when it will rain except Allah; no one knows in which land he will die; and no one knows when the Hour will begin except Allah.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari) "

Today sex prediction can be done accurately by science. What will happen tomrorow cannot be exactly predicted - but near precise conclusions can be drawn by the theory of probability. Rain and weather forecasting techniques are doing a fairly good job.

As for knowing where one will die, one can surely tell that everybody is going to die in this Universe !

As for knowing when the Hour will begin, well, what is the great Hour ? And anyway, every hour begins at some point in eternity and ends at some point in eternity !

SO WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THE RASCAL ALLAH ?

If he knows when the hour will begin, still, I tell him, the hour of Islam is surely begun and Islam is getting its retributions very well too.

nice to know tht again

/Modern day scientists would have been still groping in the darkness of the Age of Ignorance if not for the scientific wonders in the Quran as taught by Muhammad/ sarcasm off

Brainwashed has raised some some good points. Spontaneous generation of life was debunked by Louis Pasteur of France in the 19th Century.

Some other \facts\ from the great \scientific\ Muhammad:

Muhammad claimed that thunder and lightning are two of God’s angels—exactly like Gabriel.

Ibn ’Abbas asked the apostle of God about the thunder. He told him, ‘It is an angel who is in charge of the cloud, who (carries) with him swindles of fire by which he drives the clouds.\’They said to him, ‘What is this sound that we hear?’ He said: ‘(It is) his voice (The angel’s voice).\’ Muhammad also said that the lightning is the tail end of an angel whose name is Rafael.

Very interesting article, bw.

Hmmm, polytheism....monotheism....islam...what's the difference?!

Polytheism: gods are in charge with cloud, lightning, storm, etc
Islam: angels are in charge with cloud, lightning, storm, etc
Typical myth.

Shafee: "Muhammad claimed

Shafee: "Muhammad claimed that thunder and lightning are two of God’s angels—exactly like Gabriel."

I suppose one has a Rolf Harris "wobble board" and the other a large flash-light.
(Mind you it is on a par with the Angels bowling meteors at Devils/Jinns so they can't sneak up and listen in to Allah's counsels.)
Unfortunately there are no wobbleboards or flashlights involved, according to Moooo it is even worse!

Moooo:
Interesting Hadith (?).
I wonder what is meant by the "tail end" of an Angel?
Is Mohammed claiming that Angels have tails? Or is he 'politely' referring to the angels posterior?
Now pictures of lightening would suggest that Mo mean Angels have tails (thinking of the shape of lightening strikes v posterior / tail.)
The only tailed "spiritual" beings I know of are devils (perhaps also some Jinn?).

Does that mean that Mo's angels are actually devils?
If so, how does that relate to the "satanic verses" (not) in the Koran?

In fact Quran is full of

In fact Quran is full of errors. Till date only a portion of those errors has been explored. A lot still remains to be explored.

Hi there, I think u are

Hi there, I think u are writing all these juz to create a bad impression of islam in people's mind. But we still LOVE ALLAH .......... WATEVA u say doesnt matter. Hes OUR GOD. Now stop writing all these . please.
U are no one to justify any religion. U are not a genius. IF yes then you are wasting your time here. Do some theories on helping poor and needy. U will be blessed by them. TAKE CARE.

Mustafa: We seek to create an

Mustafa:
We seek to create an ACCURATE picture of Islam in people's minds.

You are free to love Allah if you wish and to take him as your god. Just as we are free not to.

We do we seek to "justify any religion". we seek to explore the true teachings of Islam and expose them to public view. To challenge the air-brushed and Bowdlerised versions of Islam peddled by the Moslem apologists.
Neither are we geniuses. But unless you are saying that we should simply have "blind faith" (which is scarcely a rational position), then surely it is the duty of any religious person to explore the understanding of God (however you may name him/her/it) as elucidated by his/her own Holy Books. Thus we are exploring what Islam really says and what it really means for the modern multi-ethnic world.

Perhaps we do seem to challenge your beliefs, but the point is this: if your beliefs are correct, then our challenges should be easily refuted through debate and discussion - which we always welcome.
Alternatively, if our challenges can't be refuted - if what we say is fully supported by Koran and Hadith and Tafseer or by history - then perhaps you need to adjust your beliefs to become more fully Moslem.
Alternatively, if you find that you can't stomach "traditional Islam" then you have a much greater decision to make, however, "there is no compulsion in religion" - or, at least, there should not be.

I am a little confused by your statement: "Do some theories on helping poor and needy."
Now, I am not in position to speak for anyone other than myself on this, but I prefer to do something practical to help the poor and needy, rather than just theorise about it!
And I hope you are not suggesting that only muslims give to charity - for that would be an irrationally untrue statement.
