Taslima Nasrin I: I have a Dream

I think interviewer should get his facts right about the expansion of Islam. There are more Muslims who leave Islam and do not want to come in light as that would be suicidal. These kind of facts are propagate by Imams to stop the people from converting out of Islam.

This video ilustrates the craven nature of the Indian secular media when it comes to reporting upon and airing constructive debates around its "Shibboleths"-Islam in this case.

The Indian male presenter virtually assaults Ms Nasrin with his manner of speech delivery- spitting out his questions with aggression -"a kind of verbal stoning to death". He squirms and wriggles in his plush chair in anticipation of the sadistic pleasure of of pinioning Ms Nasrin with his infibulating questions.

Ms Nasrin wears such a pained expression thorough out this excruciating interview. There is such a sadness in her beautiful eyes- eyes which have borne witness to such terror, torture and inhumane suffering inflicted by the Islamic society of Bangladesh upon its minorities including its Bangladeshi Muslim women. Experiences which this ,no doubt ,, highly polished ,highly educated unimaginative Indian nincompoop cannot even begin to dimly perceive.

One could observe this brave woman's weariness with the asinine posturing of this clipped, topiarized apology of Indian manhood ( the interviewer) as he prances and minces his way through the outrageous claims he makes on behalf of Islam-claims such as its respect for women, its international reputation including that hoary old chestnut about "it is not the fault of Islam but the fault of some ( a few) misguided interpreters of Islam."

If he ( the TV presenter) is representative of Indian intellectuals/Indian leadership then may heaven help India since she is going to need all the help she can get as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other likeminded bedfellows assemble themselves at her borders for that final concerted push to make Dar-Ul -Harb into Dar- Ul -Islam.
