Dr. Abd Al-Baset Sayyid looks and sounds exactly like Christian Fundamentalists who, astounded at their own inability to comprehend natural physical laws, try to attribute the wonder of the universe to an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent creator made up by some ignorant fools of a few thousand years ago.
Points:
The earth does not "hang" in space like an overripe grape. It is a spheroid of approximately 12,770 km in diameter moving in an elliptical path around the sun, another spheroid of approximately 1,419,000 km moving in an elliptical path around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, a disc-shaped collection of stars approximately one quintillion km in diameter.
The Ka'aba Black Stone, or Ruknu l-Aswad is considered by some scientists to be a meteorite fallen to earth in prehistoric times about 6,000 years ago. There is no scientific consensus about when it fell because the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has never allowed western scientists close enough to examine it closely. Because of the lack of information about the Ka'aba Black Stone, its age and origin is currently considered indeterminate. Historic accounts of the Black stone suggest that it may be glass or pumice and not meteoric. In any case, it is only a stone. No radiations from it have ever been recorded except for reflected light.
It is the nature of radiation to be propagated infinitely. A good example of this is starlight. Through telescopes the light (visible) from stars at a distance of 14 billion light years can be photographed but not seen by the human eye. Their are other radiations (non-visible) which can be measured by non-optical devices, radiations such as X-rays, gamma emmission, and many different radio frequencies. No radiations specifically from the Ka'aba, or Mekkah have ever been measured or recorded on Mars, although earth-bound reconnaisance and other photo satellites have taken some very good snapshots of Mekkah using ordinary visible light which propagates infinitely, but for something the size of the Ka'aba, is not much use at distances over a million kilometers. The least distance from the earth to Mars is about 65 million kilometers.
Dr. Sayyid's claims about the "magnetic equilibrium zone" and its beneficial health effects in Mekkah can only be categorized as medieval pseudo-science or folklore, and do not warrant serious discussion.
Dr. Sayyid also claims that the "rocks" in the Ka'aba are the oldest in the world, and that the "rocks" are not from this solar system. These claims cannot be substantiated until the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia allows qualified scientists access to the stones for testing. There are no peer-reviewed studies of these "rocks" in accepted scientific literature. There is also no item in the catalogue of the British Museum that is identified as being a "rock" or "stone" or "meteorite" from the Ka'aba.
Dr. Sayyid is simply another faith-struck believer trying desparately to justify his own beliefs by faulty logic and outright manufacture of "facts" that are not facts. The expressions on his face during his presentation seems sincere, so it would seem that he has, at least, convinced himself.

Who is curious about the universe? Where did the universe come from?
Believers do not need to be curious, like always, they know the answer -- ''it is god's!
Science on the other hand, always curious, edges on and discovers the laws of nature. 2000 years ago believers believed that the moon, the planets and the sun were gods! Science thought, searched for the truth and found it.
Science keeps acquiring new knowledge, in contrast with and in spite of religion.
It seems easier to forecast human behavior guided by the super natural, than to guess the new knowledge that science will bring us.
Beliefs based on ignorance never change. Yet discoveries brought to us by intelligence and reasoning based on evidences never stop to progress and amaze us, and go on to explain and unveil what were considered, mysteries and miracles.
Religion is the perpetuation of ignorance, with its all-encompassing answer ''it's god's" -- without a clue of what that means.
No science, no knowledge and no Astronomy in Islam or Qur'an OR any religious text.
Dr. Abd Al-Baset Sayyid too has no clue to what he is saying. Else he and Muslims will not be shy of scientific examination of the rock, the Ka’aba Black Stone, or Al-hajr Al-aswad as they call it.
Mere assertions of religious beliefs is not knowledge.
Faithfreedom.org echoes the voice of ex-Muslims who want to stop the spread of Islam, expose its violent nature, and help Muslims to understand it and leave it. We believe in the oneness of humanity and oppose Islam for inciting hatred against non Muslims. Muhammad instructed his follower to conquer the world by the sword and to rule it with terror. We are determined to not let that happen.
