Subject: Regarding Faith Freedom - In light of the open challenge.
Hi.
My name is M.Salman Khalid and i am a muslim. I am not a scholar and
neither can i account for myself to be a great muslim, for only God
knows.
I would like to take you up on your challenge, with one condition. If
i do win, along with removing your web-site, you will donate the money
to various institutions working for a good cause, whether they be
Islamic organizations or otherwise, for instance, orphanages, relief
funds, etc.
Let me assure you that instead of denial of the authenticity of the
Islamic sources that report the stories of crimes of Muhammad, i will
study them, and debate with The Quran as my only source. (With the
exception of Hadiths of course.)
And also that instead of saying : ""In those days, pedophilia,
assassination, rape, theft, massacre and lying, were common practice,
so Muhammad is innocent because he did what everyone else did.", i
will again explore the situation and provide to you answers from the
Quran and collection of Hadiths.
My belief is that Muhammad was not an assassinator, neither a
rapist... He was not a pedophile nor a theif. Nor was He a theif.
Instead of throwing questions at you, i will ask you to start the
discussion with me. And i would highly appreciate it if we can start
with one thing at a time. I'd recommend exactly to the point
conversation.
I look forward to hearing from you. May Allah guide me through this scratchless.
Best regards.
Salman Khalid.

Salman,
Please make sure that you have read AliSina's writings on the quran, muhammed, and hadeeth that are available on the site at Ali Sina Link and the previous debates at debates link . You may want to engage some of the ex-muslims at the forum first to clarify some of the points that you want to make or refine. Links to the forum are on every page of the site. Instead of planning on studying the sources during the debate, you may want to look the previous writings of AliSina and study them and educate yourself about islam. Then you can answer some of the charges laid out explicitly by AliSina and are available at FFI. Hope to read a clear and succinct answer to Ali's charges from you in the near future.
Doubtless

Hi,
Although in many discussions over at Orkut communities, i have debated
Ali Sina's claims and writings, I will take you on your advice and
first go through Sina's writings...
I will start writing my responses to each article by Sina and also my
point of views to the debates of Sina with various muslims in the
past. I will then send this to you when i am through, or better yet,
will try to send it one by one, topic by topic.
Still a Muslim,
Salman

Salman,
If you prefer, you may post them directly at the forum or if you want I can post them for you. That way you will get the responses of the FFI community and the many knowledgable ex-muslims there. You may want to look at the Forum to get an idea of the style and the tenor at the FFI forum.
It will help your arguments if you address the central charges and state why you think they are incorrect. Looking forward to your comments and responses to AliSina's charges against Islam.
