The following is a sequence of email exchanges with Miss Hira Saeed. So far, Miss Saeed has not answered any of the challenging points we offered her in our emails. She keeps jumping from one issue to another. However, we hope, that in due time, we can narrow things down better with her, and that she will be willing to discuss psecifics. Our emails with her are still ongoing. Miss Hira Saeed You seriously need to learn to respect other peoples religions. You may have converted to another religion but that does not give you the right to disrespect Islam. By saying what you said about Islam, I personally do not think that you will have made anyone agree with you. Everyone who read that will be thinking that you are a disrespectful pathetic monster. I am proud to be a muslim. You will regret saying all those things when it is The Day Of Judgement and Allah will punish you and everyone else who have said anything like what you have said. Please read it and tell me if Mr. Ali Sina, may Allah bless his soul for establishing this great site of ours, is wrong in his analysis (please note that all of Sina's analysis is supported by references that a True Muslim cannot reject): From Ali Sina's Challenge Muhammad: A Mass Murderer There were three Jewish tribes living in and around Yathrib, the Banu Qainuqa’, the Ban Nadir and the Banu Quraiza. Once Muhammad realized that they are not going to accept him as their new prophet, he turned against them. He banished the first two, after confiscating their properties and wealth and massacred the last one. Genocide of Banu Quraiza: (From Understanding Muhammad) The last Jewish tribe of Yathrib to fall victim to Muhammad’s vindictiveness was the Banu Quraiza. Soon after the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq) was over, the Meccans, fed up with Muhammad’s constant raids on their caravans, came to the gates of Medina to punish him. Advised by a Persian believer, they dug trenches around the city making it difficult for Muhammad’s enemies (The Confederates) to enter, causing their retreat. Muhammad set his eyes on the Banu Quraiza. He claimed that the Archangel Gabriel had visited him “asking that he should unsheathe his sword and head for the habitation of the seditious Banu Quraiza and fight them. Gabriel noted that he with a procession of angels would go ahead to shake their forts and cast fear in their hearts,"[1] writes Al-Mubarakpouri. Al-Mubarakpouri continues: “the Messenger of Allâh immediately summoned the prayer caller and ordered him to announce fresh hostilities against Banu Quraiza,”[2] It is important, in studying Islam, to note that the call to prayer was also the call to war. Muslim’s riots and hooliganism always initiate from the mosques after they offer their prayers. They are most vicious during the holy month of Ramadan and on Fridays. In a sermon commemorating the Birthday of Muhammad, in 1981, the Ayatollah Khomeini said: Mehrab (Mosque) means the place of war, the place of fighting. Out of the mehrabs, wars should proceed. Just as all the wars of Islam proceeded out of the mehrabs. The prophet had sword to kill people. Our Holy Imams were quite militants. All of them were warriors. They used to wield swords. They used to kill people. We need a Caliph who would chop hands, cut throats, stone people. In the same way that the messenger of Allâh used to chop hands, cut throats, and stone people.[3] Muhammad headed an army of three thousand infantry men and thirty horsemen of Ansar (Helpers) and Muhajireen (Emigrants). The Banu Quraiza was accused of conspiring against the Muslims with the Quraish. In reality, these Muslim historians deny this charge and say the Meccans withdrew without fighting because they did not receive support from the Banu Quraiza. When Muhammad made his intentions known, Ali, his cousin and staunch supporter, swore he would not stop until he either stormed their garrisons or was killed. This siege lasted 25 days. Finally the Banu Quraiza surrendered unconditionally. Muhammad ordered the men to be handcuffed, while the women and children were confined in isolation. Thereupon the Aws tribe, who were allies of the Banu Quraiza, interceded, begging Muhammad to be lenient towards them. Muhammad suggested that Sa‘d bin Mu‘adh, a ruffian among them who had been fatally wounded by an arrow, give a verdict on the Jews. Sa’d was a former ally of the Banu Quraiza, but since his conversion to Islam he had a change of heart against them. He also blamed them for the fatal wound he received when a Meccan threw an arrow during the Battle of Trench. Muhammad knew how Sa’d felt about the Banu Quraiza. He was, after all, his bodyguard and slept in the mosque. Sa'd's verdict was that “all the able-bodied male persons belonging to the tribe should be killed, women and children taken prisoners and their wealth divided among the Muslim fighters.” Muhammad became pleased with this cruel verdict and said that “Sa‘d (had) adjudged by the Command of Allâh."[4] He often credited Allâh for his own decisions. This time he chose Sa’d to verbalize his whims. Al-Mubarakpouri adds that “In fact, the Jews deserved that severe punitive action for the ugly treachery they had harbored against Islam, and the large arsenal they had amassed, which consisted of one thousand and five hundred swords, two thousand spears, three hundred armors and five hundred shields, all of which went into the hands of the Muslims.” What Al-Mubarakpouri forgets to mention is that the Banu-Quraiza had loaned their weapons as well as their shovels and picks to Muslims so they could dig the trench and defend themselves. Muslims will never be grateful to those who help them. They will take your help and will stab you in the back the moment they no longer need you. We shall see in the next chapter the psychology of this pathology. Muslim historians have been quick to accuse the Banu Quraiza of the usual baseless charges to justify their massacre. They accused them of being mischievous, causing sedition, being treacherous and plotting against Islam. However no specifics exist as to the nature of those sins to warrant such a severe punishment and their total genocide. Trenches were dug in the bazaar of Medina and between 600 to 900 men were beheaded and their bodies dumped in them. Huyai Ibn Akhtab, the chief of the Banu Nadir whose married daughter, Safiya, Muhammad took as his share of the booty when he invaded Khaibar, was among the captives. He was brought to the victor with his hands tied from behind. In an audacious defiance he rejected Muhammad and preferred death to submission to this brute man. He was ordered to kneel and was beheaded on the spot. To determine who should be killed, the youngsters were examined. Those who had grown pubic hair were bundled with the men and beheaded. Atiyyah al-Quriaz, a Jew who had survived this massacre later recounted: “I was among the captives of Banu Quraiza. They (the Muslims) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.”[5] Muhammad killed and banished several Jewish tribes, among them are B. Qainuqa’, B. Nadir, B. Quraiza, B. Mustaliq, B. Jaun and the Jews of Khaibar. On his deathbed, he instructed his followers to cleanse the Arabian Peninsula of all non-believers,[6] an order that Omar, the second Caliph carried out later. He exterminated the Jews, the Christians and the pagans, forcing them to convert, leave or put them to death. Now, enriched with the loot, Muhammad could be even generous to those who believed in him. Anas narrated: “People used to give some of their date palms to the Prophet (as a gift), till he conquered Banu Quraiza and Banu An-Nadir, whereupon he started returning their favors.”[7] There is a verse in the Qur’an that speaks about the massacre of the Banu Quraiza approving Muhammad’s butcheries of their men and taking women and children as prisoners. He caused those of the People of the Book who helped them (i.e. the Quraish) to come out of their forts. Some you killed, some you took prisoner. (Q. 33: 26)

Say: “Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members.” Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein." Do you know how this verse "came down" to Muhammad? You see, Arabs before Muhammad had some sacred months where they never fought each other, until muhammad and his pirates showed up. They attacked a commercial caravan at a place called Nakhla, killed one person, imprisoned two, and took a lot of booty. All of that was done during the sacred months. Muhammad came down with the above verse to justify what the Muslims did during a time sacred to all Arabs. It's unfortunate so many muslims choose to be so ignorant on this matter.

First they think that non-muslims "obviously" haven't read the Qur'an and are thus spreading lies. Then, when you beat them at knowledge on Islamic text (something they don't expect from a non-muslim) they just go in denial by saying you're lying, using a bad translation or quoting weak hadith or something along those lines. They don't even bother to check your statements, they just accuse you of being a liar and go in denial.

One thing that also never fails to amaze me is how muslims regard the Qur'an as some sort of mystical book that brings up emotions like no others. The only reason why they do this is because they've been "programmed" to think so. Any sensible person reading it sees it as a messed up collection of stories and verses full of endless repetition, superstitious beliefs and contradictions, while also lacking severely in historical context and important key points in the stories from the Qur'an. The fact that the hadith (and tafsir) are almost mandatory in order to understand the Qur'an are a testimony to this. The standard "Go read the Qur'an before you judge Islam" argument is so outplayed, their damaged minds simply can't fathom the idea of someone REJECTING Islam based on what he/she read in said Qur'an.

Assuming 1.2 billion muslims. 600 million are women. We need a book , yes a whole book or website which should be helping the educated muslim women to understand Islam fully, analyze the various case studies where News all around the world shows islam is too cruel to women. Somehow if atleast the educated muslimahs say around 10 -30 million leave Islam and create a networked movement, then we can see the result of freeing the muslims from this cruel and absurd cult called Islam quickly.
The case scenerios like:
1. If the husband wants to take 2nd or 3rd or 4th wife and shedoesnt want him to marry again.
2. Husband wants to leave her quickly by simply saying "Talak" 3 times.
3. Husband is abusing and beats her regularly and she wants to leave her and leave an independent life.
4. Father-in-law has raped the women.
5. Uncle has raped her.
6. Some known person has raped her and she cant produce 4 male witnesses.
7. A women doesnt want her daughter to suffer the genetal mutation.
8. A muslimah wants to study but parents want her to marry.
9. Say a 9 year girl has been fixed in marriage to a 53 year old men and being a women known to that child you want to avoid that. What will you do?

These are some pointed questions and let 'educated ' muslimahs work towards the betterment of there fellow women who are abused daily in afghanistan , somalia, pakistan etc and cant do anything unless and untill some external force helps them.
Muslimahs in western countries should junk the islamic faith and create a 'path' on which the western government instead of 'accepting' the feelings of muslims should work with ex-muslims and question the islamic countries and force the government to provide real freedom and equality to women.
Keeping silent is not a solution, people especially muslimahs in muslim countries are suffering, we need to free them.
The muslims marry many women, produce a truckload of women, leave them as they wish and then these helpless women are begging on streets. A common sceen in muslim countries and living a horrible life.
Many muslim men also do business with there wives and get money when there wives sleep with other men. They act as pimps.
World cant stay silent. Muslimahs in west , please side with humanity and the more quickly you will learn the truth about Islam and see its effects on muslims, muslim society and muslim countries better you can help.

After going through this website i felt so sorry that the propaganda against Islam was so weakly implanted via exaggerated hypothesis by self-acclaimed scientist and researchers.

Bernard Shaw the philosopher says:" I'v studied Mohammed as an amazing man, and I've found him a way from antagonizing Jesus ,he must be called the Savior of Humanity. Nowadays Europe starts to understand the faith of monotheism , and may be more than that , it confesses the ability of that faith to solve its problems by a way leading to peace and happiness, So through that essence you should understand my prediction"(5)
"if we judge the greatness by measuring the influence of that great on the people, so we should say that Mohammed is the greatest great in history ,he stopped racism and myths ,and established over Christianity and Judaism and his country's religion, a very clear and a strong religion , that succeeded to be until these days a power with great danger" (6)

Voltaire the French philosopher says: "Prophet Mohammed played a great role ,that no man can do on earth ….He brought a revealed book and fought the evil doers, that is the least thing we can say a about Mohammed, Islam never changed, but you and your priests have changed your religion twenty times "(8)

The Swiss theology scholar Dr.Hanz Kong who believes that Jesus is just a man and a prophet who was chosen by God ,says:" Mohammed is a real prophet with all meanings , we can not deny that Mohammed is the guide leader to the path of survival"(10)
What is remarkable in Mohammed is that his life details ,biography and his virtues are all recorded in history .So there is no mysteries in any part of his life. This was confessed by the most famous western historians.

the British Arnold Twenby says: "Those who want to study the scented Prophetic Biography find many information that they can not find such details about the life of any other prophets"(11)

ConteKatiany in his book {History of Islam} says: "Is not Prophet Mohammed worthy to present his life to the whole world ,therefore the vengeful of him and his message can not deny that he was brought to spread peace and love all over the world?! the history of Jesus doesn't present fulfilling life details"

The famous Oriental Justaph Lubuned says: "we know well enough about Mohammed's life, but the life of Jesus is nearly unknown, and you will not find details about his life in the bibles "(12)

R.F Bodly insist on that meaning and says:" We don't know except few details about Jesus' life , but about Mohammed's life we know many details, and we find his history instead of mysteries and shades"(13)

The oriental Hill says in his book {Arab civilization}:"Mohammed had produced a Nation to the world, and enabled God's worshipping on the earth , and established the basis of justice and social equality ,and applied systems ,arrangements ,obedience ,and glory in a society knows nothing but muss and disorder"

Jack Leak,The Spanish oriental in his book {The Arab}says: 'The life of Mohammed cannot be perfectly described as it is described by God saying:" And We have sent you Muhammad(PBUH) not but as a mercy for the (mankind, jinn and all that exists)." Mohammed was a real mercy , and I pray for him passionately and interestingly .(14)

Christopher Darksome the Historian, says in his book{Rules of Movement in world's History } :"The World have changed a sudden Change by one person's action who appeared in history , that was Mohammed"

Cheiril the scholar , the dean of the law college in Vienna says: "Humanity is proud that a man like Mohammed belongs to it"(15)

The French researcher Kleman Hwart :"
Mohammed wasn't an ordinary prophet ,but he perfectly deserve to be the last prophet ,because he has faced all the difficulties that faced previous Prophets, even doubled from his own people ,…and an extraordinary prophet to swear "If Fatima the daughter of Mohammed steal I would cut her hand"! If the Muslims consider their messenger as their top example for spreading knowledge and awareness , the whole world would be Muslim"

After seeing the last 2 comments, I can only say that while muslims speak with words like 'Truth' or 'Peace' but are opposite that is Falsehood and Violent.
Also with the false notion that God is now finished after sending the thug muhammed. Why this emphasis on Last prophet? Why God cant send prophets again or again whenever bad things happen and society becomes corrupt. WHy Koran has to be acceted not other faiths? Muslims have been deluded. The killings, genocides, poverty, rapes etc are mostly by muslims among all religions. In history muslims killed maximum non-muslims or muslims than anything till now.

I find it blatant arrogant that any muslims seeks to speak for anybody except for himself. There are more Muslims sects out there both subsects to Sunni and Shia (the major two sects) and in addition to these (Quran only Muslims, Quranities, 19, submitters). Hadith claims that there will 72 sects of Islam.

There was a very informative and very disturbing programme series on CNN a few years back showing various kinds of muslims and islam - muslims who support Bin Laden, Hizb-ut-Tahrir, reformers, critics, liberal Muslims, radical Muslims, modearate muslims etc. Very interesting.

The only way to deal with this challenge, is to have open debates and point out the selv-evident conflicts which have a very real and physical impact on a lot of muslims and non-muslims.

The fact that some people are so vehemently visiting this site and speaking hate, shows that it is perceived as a threat. The right and freedom of speech.

Until Muslims eradicate the problems which have manifested their world and communities, until they empower women and start viewing them as equals, until they start protecting religious minorities and apostates rather than persecute them and kill them if not force convert them, until they confront the hateful and misogynist and bigot preachers who issue fatwas and teach hate and intolerance daily in the mosque, in the homes, in the quran schools (Madarassas), in the parlaments, criticism will not go away.

The critics are getting their reasoning and facts from Muslims themselves. The world is not blind to the suffering og women, religious minorities, girls (children), non-muslims, apostates, liberal muslims etc in the muslim world. The criticism is coming from Muslim critics who see crucial issues.

I have to wonder - why do muslims still only find time to ramble and confront non-islamic sites? Why do muslims not stand up and fight against the hate in their own community? In this case silence is not gold.

See brother, its not a matter of what religion you follow, the utmost important concern is how you perceive your life.

There are some common human instincts and traits which are above any religious teachings such as honesty, truthfullness, obedience, peacefullness, harmony and brotherhood etc. which all come under the one term "Humanity".

Peoples tends to desire for freedom, and they do have a right to exercise their freedom. But do you believe that giving freedom to human being in whatsoever they wish to pursue or exercise is ethical and safe? For example if person a wants to bomb someone's house since it is his freedom of will, would you allow him to pursue his destructive ambition? Sincerely speaking you won't since it would not help the humanity to prosper and reach the zenith of its merits.

Human beings have both the face of qualities, you see truthful person, the same time you will be confronted with liars. You see honest and obedient people having a caring and down to earth approach, you might notice the altogether different sets of qualities exhibiting evil traits...

Therefore one should not judge any body of faith by its followers since they can go to wrong way because of their innate freedom for exercising whatever pops up in their mind. For instance if you meet a true muslim you wont see him advocating Laden as a good person since in Islam we are not taught to kill any one innocent but to our agony, peoples have misinterpreted the theories of islam because of considering their mind as the only faculty of excellence to decipher the hidden meanings attached with each and every law of any religion particularly islam.

I have no enmity with any of the religion. Anas reported: Eight men of the tribe of 'Ukl came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and swore allegiance to him on Islam, but found the climate of that land uncogenial to their health and thus they became sick, and they made complaint of that to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said: Why don't you go to (the fold) of our camels along with our shepherd, and make use of their milk and urine. They said: Yes. They set out and drank their (camels') milk and urine and regained their health. They killed the shepherd and drove away the camels. This (news) reached Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and he sent them on their track and they were caught and brought to him (the Holy Prophet). He commanded about them, and (thus) their hands and feet were cut off and their eyes were gouged and then they were thrown in the sun, until they died.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn al-Sabbah with a slight variation of words. Sahih Muslim, Book 16, Number 4131 (Also, see 4130, 4132).

Of course, many Muslims find the idea of drinking camel's urine to be repulsive; and, as a result, they reject this hadith, even though it is Muttafaq 'Alaih. Others justify the hadith, and point out that horse urine is the source of conjugated equine estrogens (CEE) and available as Premarin®. It is an estrogen treatment for menopausal and premenopausal women. For them, it is reason to praise Muhammad whom, they claim, had miraculous foreknowledge of modern medicine. However, there is no specific evidence that those who were ill were menopausal women or that Muhammad suggested that camel urine would cure a woman who had a low level of estrogen.

Furthermore, those Muslims who think that Muhammad was given miraculous scientific knowledge only give lip service to this hadith. They would never put camel urine to their lips and drink it themselves. This shows that they don't really believe the so-called miracle in their hearts. If they did, they would be asking to drink camel's urine whenever they were ill. Since they neither believe nor follow Muhammad's advice in this hadith, their verbal praise of Muhammad's miraculous medical knowledge rings hollow and hypocritical.

Even more striking than the advice to drink camel's milk and urine is the horrific mutilation of the murderers. Since Muhammad commanded that their eyes be branded with a hot iron, and since their hand and feet were cut, tradition records that someone said, "I saw one of them licking the earth with his tongue till he died." When Muhammad commanded them to be mutilated, he did not allow the cuts on their hands and feet to be cauterized. He wanted them to die the most slow, painful, dry, and agonizing death possible. (See Sahih Al-Bukhari No. 589 of Vol 7.)

Yet, the Qur'an claims Muhammad's mission was only a mission of mercy for peoples.

And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 21:107 [Al-Hilali & Khan's translation]

Thank you for all these great quotes from prominent Westerners. Just one simple question though. Have you even bothered to ask yourself why not even one of the Westerners you have quoted here have embraced Islam? If they really believed that Muhammad was a genuine prophet, wouldn't they have done so? That they didn't become Muslims simply proves that they were just hypocrites merely mouthing empty words that they didn’t believe in. This sounds a lot like President Obama to me.

Just remember these simple truths:
Actions speak louder than empty words.
Walk the talk, don't talk the walk.
Practice what you preach.

This means to do what you say you would do and to be consistent with your words and actions. Your prophet Muhammad did not do so as well. He told his followers to do many things that he himself did not practise, just one example being the number of wives allowed. I can give you many more examples if you wish, but you would probably say Allah permitted it for him only, so who are we to judge. And why shouldn't we?

Incidentally Voltaire, the 18th Century French philosopher, satirist and playwright, whom you quoted and whom I greatly admire, was not really a hypocrite. He often wrote in a satirical style that could easily be misunderstood by literalists. Here below is a covering letter that Voltaire sent to Pope Benedict XIV, when he sent him his newly completed play called “Mahomet”:

So if concisely translated, Surah 79:30 should read as “And the Earth after that He (Allah) Spread out like a carpet and Flattened it.”

The Arabic word for egg is " Baidah " and NOT " Dahiyah " . There is NO such Arabic word as " Dahiyah ". " "Dahaahaa " actually means " FLATTEN ". And the concise meaning of “Dahaahaa” is “Spread out like a carpet and Flattened”. This points to a clear scientific error in the Quran. The word “Dahiyah” is a word that comes from one of the NON-Arab tribes of North Africa. It is definitely NOT an Arabic word and NOT a word that comes from the Arabian Peninsula or Muhammad’s tribe.

Surah 10:5 says
Huwa Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Ash-Shamsa Điyā'an Wa Al-Qamara NURon Wa Qaddarahu Manāzila Lita`lamū `Adada As-Sinīna Wa Al-Ĥisāba Mā Khalaqa Allāhu Dhālika 'Illā Bil-Ĥaqqi Yufaşşilu Al-'Āyāti Liqawmin Ya`lamūna which means "It is He Who made the sun to be a shining brightness and THE MOON TO BE A LIGHT, and measured out stages for her; that you might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand."

The Arabic word “Qamara” means “Moon” and “NUR” means “LIGHT”. “Al-Qamara” means “The Moon”. Surah 10:5 CLEARLY says ALLAH MADE THE MOON A LIGHT.

The word “NUR” means “Light” and it does NOT AT ALL mean “reflected light”. Anyone who knows Arabic knows that. If it does, then in the Arabic text of Surah 24:35, Allah is himself a reflected light ! Is any muslim apologist willing to accept such an insult, degradation and blasphemy to Allah ?? Also, if as according to the LIES of muslim apologists, “NUR” means “reflected light” which it does NOT, then in the Arabic text, Surahs 2:257, 4:174, 5:16, 5:46, 6:1, 6:122, 7:157, 9:32, 33:43, 33:46, 35:25, 42:52, 57:9, 61:8, 64:8 make absolutely no sense at all and make the already absurd Qur'an even more absurd, ridiculous and erroneous.

Surah 10:5 is a clear scientific MISTAKE in the light of modern science. The moon is NOT a light and does NOT give out its own light ! The moon reflects light from the sun. Of course, the Qur'an does not mention this at all because Muhammad did not know this.

I write this note with much respect to you and your opinions, and with greetings and salutations.

Before I start let me take a moment to introduce myself. I have no association or affiliation with FFI. I, like yourself, somehow visited FFI by accident and became interested in it and involved. I left Islam almost 30 years ago after very very careful study of the Qur'an and other credible Islamic documents such as Hadith, and found nothing really redeeming or edifying in them. In fact I found in may places Qur'an contradicting itself. Later, from the hadith, I learned that these contradictions depended in what stage of life Muhammad was and what revelation he needed for the vindication of his own actions.

I am not an atheist, agnostic nor humanist. I believe that there is a mighty Spirit, call it God if you like, who created the world and everything it for His own purpose, which is beyond our understanding. I say he is Spirit because no one has ever seen God. As we don't see the wind but we know it is there. If don't see the heat from the sun but we are warmed by it. I am a "Christ follower ". The church I attend does not belong to any denominations in the Christian world. I like to find out what Christ did and follow him.

I am an old retired person who enjoys, among other things, to read history, biography, and philosophy of men and women of the past and present who have shaped the tapestry of our lives. I read everything and about anyone. I have read both about Mahatma Gandhi and Hitler, as they both shaped world history but in totally different ways. In religious and spiritual matters both Muhammad and Jesus changed our world , but in radically different directions. And we should read and educate ourselves about them, what they said, what they did and they lived and conducted themselves.

I am married to a wonderful muslim woman. I say muslim because she was born of muslim parents and lived in her formative years in a muslim country. Like most muslims she has never read the Qur'an let alone understand it, knows nothing about any other religion for that matter, and gets angry if any topic having to do with belief or religion comes up. I love her very much and lay down my life for her if it were necessary. I never insult her as a muslim human being though I vehemently disagree with Islam and its teachings.

I have many intelligent muslim friends, some with lofty professorial titles in major universities. I have never been able to debate them, because they immediately slam the door shut on any discussion. Therefore, I don't believe in the back and forth debate, and will not try to debate you here. What I think is helpful in the course of conversation is if people enter into discussion with an open mind to exchange ideas with total civility, and then in the privacy of their heart, conscious, or mind, think about the points made in the conversation, and figure out as what makes sense and what doesn't. What is true and what is not. what is good and wholesome and what dark and evil.

I can give you many things to consider as I know both the Qur'an and the New Testament ( Bible ) very well. But I think others have done that on this site already, and you are saturated with talking points. But if you will, please read the entire review of this movie and the passage from the New Testaments. Compare the two, think and meditate about them, and see if you were THIS woman, which treatment you would have preferred. By which law would you have wanted to be judged. These are not something I made up. They happen on regular basis under Islamic Constitution, which is based on Qur'an, Hadith, and are interpreted by the TOP experts of the religion such as the Ayatollahs, Muftis, Imams, who teach and nurture the muslim communities.

By the way, this is the only time in the Bible that Jesus was seen writing. While Dr. Sina in one of his writing called it " doodling ", from the tone of scripture it seems that Jesus was writing the "sins" of those accusing this woman and had come to stone her. He was writing which one of them , for example, had slept with this very same woman. Who had cheated on his neighbor. who had stolen. who had lied. Jesus was condemning them, and naming every sin they had committed.

Believe me the real islam has still not come to the world. We are not allowed to marry females above puberty age and also have to get their consent also. You have been referrring to those hadees which emanated from the Sunni school of thoughts who only accepts Prophet Mohammad pbuh as the last source of information and we believe that after prophet mohammad pbuh Ali ibne abitalib and 11 ahlulbait(family of Prophet) was the real source of guidance. Just read the authentic books about the history and life of Ahlulbait a.s and you will hopefully get the true meaning of Islam, which because of minority has not come into limelight. If you want i can send you the books and links for real understanding of Islam.

Alright, I'm here to reply to some statements made by "TheTruth".

In your first comment you list a bunch of non-muslims who admire Muhammad or Islam, and show us their quotes. First of all, don't you see the irony in this? You know they are non-muslims, you even call them so, yet because they shed a positive light on Islam you find them a credible source? Seriously, if they were sincere in their statements, how come they are non-muslims? What you have to realize is that many of the people you quote were from the end of the second millenium, when Christianity was declining and constantly being criticized. In their battle against Christianity, many would side even with Islam to do so. Also, the concept of atheism was still in a relatively weak position back then, as we didn't have important fossils yet, or DNA research, or in some cases even the evolution theory of Darwin, so naturally picking sides with another monotheistic belief was a decent idea according to them in order to attack Christianity. You also have to wonder how in depth their knowledge about Islam and Muhammad was when they made these statements, as they didn't have internet back then. Also, as far as I know most of the Islamic texts weren't even translated until the late 19th century so a lot they might have known would've been through hearsay from muslims themselves.

Also, in the same post you are accusing scientists of believing that the universe came out of itself, even when nothing came out of itself so why would the whole universe have come out of itself? So, with that point of view... how did God/Allah came to be? If nothing can come out of itself, then neither can Allah or God. Someone must've created him as well, and even if Allah or God created this universe, don't you think we should praise the one who created Allah instead of Allah himself? If you can believe that Allah just existed all along and didn't need to be created, you can do the same thing for the universe, it's as simple as that. Don't tell me the universe is too complex or whatever for it to just come out of nothing, because if our universe is complex, then surely the very God who created it is even more complex.

Next, you state "He is the most noble, down to earth, helping, caring, person the society has ever witnessed" regarding Muhammad. How you can say this is beyond me. He had sex with a young child, he executed defenseless civilians, he ordered critics to be assassinated, he was harsh against women, the list goes on. You can all find the evidence for these claims in the ahadith. If you reject the ahadith, then how can you follow the Qur'an? The Qur'an does not specify how to fulfill certain commandments found in it. One easy example is the verse where it claims that Muhammad is the perfect example for mankind. How is it possible to follow his example if you know nothing about his life?

In another post you state how you have Christian friends and no hostility towards their religion. Do you not follow the Qur'an which specifically orders you NOT to make friends with Christians or Jews?

Next up you ask for evidence which would prove the existence of multiple Gods and that one shouldn't just create theories without any evidence behind it. Where's the evidence for the existence of only one God? So far all the evidence has been a few books claiming to be inspired by Him and a few prophets who were supposedly spreading His message. Yet when you look at these books in detail you'll find errors and contradictions which couldn't have been made by a God that has all the attributes that He is given in these books, such as all-knowing or perfect.

Next up, your claim that Muhammad gave women equal rights. First of all, it would've been Allah who gave these rights and not Muhammad. Secondly, what is your definition of equal rights? Islam gives women restrictions that are not imposed on men. The inheritence of a daughter is equal to half the inheritance of a son for example. Husbands are allowed to beat their wives. Women should be obedient to their husbands. Women are allowed to marry only one man whereas men are allowed to marry up to 4 women. The testimony of a female witness is worth only half the testimony of a male witness. The list goes on. The Qur'an itself even states that Allah gave men one more strength than the other (women). On top of that, your statements about Islamic marriages are wrong. (Virgin) girls do NOT have the freedom to choose their spouse. They have the freedom to REJECT one, yes, but not to CHOOSE one as they need permission from their "guardian" (brother, father, uncle, w/e) to marry someone. If they want to marry with "John" for example, and her guardian says no, she can't marry him. Both her guardian and she need to accept the spouse or else no marriage can take place, it's as simple as that. Men do not have such a burden, they can marry whatever girl they want. They even have a wider choice as they can marry Jewish or Christian girls where muslimas are restricted to muslims only.

Next you try to criticize our Western values by saying anyone with a few penny can get a women to be naked. That is ridicilous. Many women in our society who get absurd offers by magazines as Playboy still reject them. Also, no one can force these women to be naked. It is the women themselves who choose to display their bodies for a "few penny". If that is their choice then so be it, that is the greatness of freedom. It is not up to the rest to decide how a woman or girl should live her life. If a girl rejects an offer of 10 million dollars for posing nude, then that's her choice and no one will blame her. If another girl wants to strip naked for 50 dollars then that's her own choice and no one will blame her. It's her body and she can choose what to do with it, whether that is modest or not.

Next up you say the difference between our wives and muslim wives is that anyone can enjoy her physical beauty in public. So what? Women in your society can enjoy the physical beauty of men as well without restrictions. Who are you to tell your wife that other men can't look at her beauty? I'd rather have other men staring at the beauty of my wife than forcing her to wear an atrocious set of garments. Then you say how men can even have sex with our women if they want to. Guess what, they can do the same in your society. A woman choosing to cheat on you has nothing to do with the society she's been raised or lives in but with her personal feelings. The only difference is that we won't stone them for doing so.

Then you reiterate they lie that none of the battles from Islam where aggressive attacks by Islam. This is ridicilous. How do you think Islam became so predominant in the Mid-East? They did so by attacking those nations. Do you really think when, in 13 years of peaceful preaching Muhammad only managed to get an insanely small amount of followers, but after his death his religion managed to spread all the way to Northwestern Africa in less than a hundred years without any violence or aggression? Also, your idea that others copied the Islamic style of defense in warfare (I'm assuming you're talking about digging trenches around a settlement to guard off cavarly attacks) is a misunderstanding, as that very idea came from a PERSIAN convert to Islam. Without that Persian chances are pretty high that the muslim army would've collapsed under the cavalry attacks. The world already had empires way before Islam was born and these empires had perfectly capable army generals, it's ludicrious to assume that the Defense Department system is something copied from muslims.

Also, you're saying Western societies apparently don't give women enough respect? What a joke. We HAVE given them equal rights (unlike Islam has done, contrary to what you believe). In our countries women are allowed high positions of power in our society. Hell, America could've had a female president last year. You'll never see that happening in Islam societies. You say they have no freedom to avoid being used as public property. What a ridicilous statement. It is the very fact that you muslims need to regard every women as "PROPERTY" that you see unmarried women as public property. In Western societies we see women as fellow human beings, with equal rights to men... not as property of anyone but themselves. At least we don't have books telling that our wives are a "tilth" for us that we can approach whenever we like. At least we abolished slavery to prevent women from ending up as sex slaves and so on. Just because certain girls in Western societies tend to be slutty, doesn't mean that they are because others told them to be. They made the choice themselves to become what they have become. Some girls just love attention and will go to any length to achieve it. Do you ever offer your women any choice and freedom to be whatever they want to be, even if it's immoral or bad in your eyes? Yeah I didn't think so. Do you as a Shia happen to come from Iran perhaps? Do you know that according to Iranic law a woman can't even be a judge? Bottom line, the matter of the fact is that in the West we have women with far greater power and influence than any man in the muslim world has. We give them the CHOICE to do what they want to do with their lives, just like men have that same choice. If they want to be sluts, let them be, if they want to be pious, let them be. You are not in the position to dictate others of what to do with their lives.

After this you say there is a severe punishment for rape in Islam but not in Christianity. Well guess what, our laws aren't based on Christianity. We have punishments for rape as well, they might not be as severe as in Islam BUT there's one important part which makes our law vastly superior to yours and that is the fact that according to our laws the woman has roughly a thousand times more of a chance to prove that she has been raped WITHOUT having the risk of ending up being accused of adultery herself and being stoned or lashed for it. You and I both know that finding 4 male witnesses to a rape is a ludicrous demand. If you were to give a Sharia state the technology to investigate rape cases on the basis of sperm or saliva remains on a woman with DNA checks, they wouldn't give women the opportunity to prove her rape with this because the Qur'an demands she finds 4 male witnesses.

Lastly you say men can have "only" four wives. Only four? More than one is already way too much, let alone four. You accuse Western societies of turning girls and women into public property but your own laws allow men to take women as second range wives. What a joke. Not only that, but treating them all equally is a lie as well. The Qur'an only says you have to treat them all justly, which is not the same as equally. It is your own prophet who recognized Aisha as his favorite wife for example, how is that equal and fair towards his other wives?

Anyway, basically you are trying to refute all claims by saying it's the fault of Sunni Islam and that Shia Islam is the solution. That no one would've cursed Islam if Shia was predominant. Wait a second, isn't Iran a Shiite country? We all saw the atrocities occuring there during the elections. I'd hate to say it, but Shia Islam is just as bad Sunni Islam. The problems with Islam are common in all forms of Islam, some are just even worse than others but they are all bad. Even muslims who reject all ahadith, both Sunni and Shia ahadith, and only follow the Qur'an are met with countless of problematic commands that simply don't work anymore in the modern world.
