Hi Sina, I saw your website and I was speechless and confused. Is it true what you wrote about that religion? If Islam is cult, how about Hinduism and Buddhism? I am a Hindu and I myself confused with my own religion. If you don’t believe in Islam, then which religion do you believe? Regards Mathubala Mr. AliSina calls himself a freethinker and claims not to subscribe to any organised religion. His views can be gleaned from many of his writings that are available at his website under his writings at http://www.faithfreedom.org/Author/Sina.htm . You may want to look under "freethought" to see some of AliSina's ideas still taking shape. Doubtless Thanks for your reply. Since he is a free thinker, can he tell me exactly how we human beings came to this world? There must be any scientific reason for this? We can’t be just popping down from the sky am I right? Who created human beings? I am not sure what AliSina's position is on such a specific question. You may want to post at the FFI forum to get the opinions of the many members there. Personally, I find the developing and evolving scientific explanation that relies upon evolution and natural selection to be better than any other that I have come across. It is fairly certain that the creation of Adam, i.e. man in the present form, without any evolutionary history is certainly wrong and mythical. Allow me to ask you a simple question since you claimed to be a hindu. Who creates a 70 year old woman? She certainly is not the woman she was when she was 30 years old? Is she? She certainly is not the child that was born 70 years earlier? Now religions posit a 'soul' to connect the child to the 70 year old, but there really is no real evidence for the soul. Is there? Is it not simpler to accept that the ever existing change for biological living things changes the child to the woman without the need to invent a soul? Anyhow these issues of creation and science are not fully settled and many people have various opinions and it is likely that nearly all of them are wrong to some extent and as man learns more they will be refined. What is clear is that the absolute cetainity and claim to authoritative answer to such questions offered by religion can easily be shown to be wrong and based upon the lack of knowledge of our ancestors and reflects their best guess of how they understood the world around them. What you are trying to tell me that there is no god in this world and we all came from ourselves. Then there is no religion, no god and nothing. How to become a free thinker? I do not know what you mean that we all came from ourselves? The universe is very very large, and there are billions and billions of galaxies and in each galaxy there are billions of stars and our sun is just such one star and our earth is orbiting that sun. The earth is about 5 billion years old. Suns are born and they die. On this planet, 'life' began about 4.5 billion years ago as organic molecular structure and from that evolved over these billions of years into the species that we belong to. You have heard of dinosaurs? Dinosaurs were on this planet for about 300 million years. Humans have been around for a far less time. This is what is the best guess of the scientists. You should be able to access that. Now religions make up stories to explain many questions. Instead of saying that they do not know, they weave children's stories, perhaps of our desire to know. If you do not like accepting that there are many things that we do not know but are willing to accept any story that some one you like weaves, then accept the stories of creation that religions have woven, and there are many. Islam borrows its creation stories from the jews and says that God created the first man and woman, and we all are children of that pair. That is now definatively wrong. Simple men merely extrapolated and said that every human is born from parents and hence there must have been an original man and a woman. Where did they come from? Ofcourse God. God is always a short answer for when we run out of explanations. When we cannot figure some thing out then it is always God. Your hinduism has many philosphies that do not require a god. Buddha never talked about a god. Ethics and morality systems do not depend upon god. Doubtless I agree with you. In Hinduism, those who are very pious to god wont pray to the statue of the hindu god. In fact, they will meditate and they will see god as a light or vision only. What Hinduism is practicing now is wrong I can say. God don’t have, shape, body or anything. Those who are praying with statue is just to let them know that this is how god looks like because those days, hindus believes that god will communicate with them and this is how they look according to hindu puranams. According to them, Lord Shiva always meditates in the Himalaya and those who are very pious can see him. And some said the one in the Mecca Khaabah is also Siva Lingam, the stone represent Lord Shiva. Anyhow, Hinduism and Buddhism is the best because they never force someone to convert into their religion and we are free of doing anything. We don’t have to cover our hair, our whole body and so on. What do you think of Hinduism? It is not important what I think of hinduism. I know that Islam is not a religion but a deception and a cult, and it is not good for the muslims or the non-muslims and at present it has become a threat for all mankind. All other religions are okay. Each one of them has its strengths and its problems. You should feel free to think about all of them and pick and choose what you think is true and right. When any religion starts saying that it is the only one that is right and others are wrong and evil, then I have problems with that. I know some hindus take the statues to be real but then other hindus tell me that those hindus are incorrect. The statues are merely representation of ideas about their god. They explain it as one can use words to describe god and try to use different words to give different aspects of their god. Statues are simply like words and trying to describe god in visual pictures. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. You pick which ever explanation you like. So again, what is important is what you think and not what I think. To think correctly, you should attain as much knowledge as you can and these days with the internet that is so much easier. Use your own brain, and your own heart. As Ali Sina says: " be a prophet unto your ownself". Doubtless I agree with your statement. What the hindus told you are correct. Can I know where you are located and what is your name? You are male or female? Thanks for your explanation. If I have any doubt about religion, can I email to you? Or are you annoyed with my question? I simply go by Doubtless. I will not give out my real identity becuase the things I say about Islam makes a lot of muslims very angry and they may cause me or my family harm. You may want to join the FFI forum and discuss with the members there. Be aware that at the FFI forum people can be very very critical and blunt, but you will learn a lot about all religions. Everybody and all religions get criticised and defended. There are very dedicated hindus there from India and other places, there are very strongly believing christians, there are zorastrians, there are buddhists, atheists, agnostics, etc. So each one defends their religion but gets to hear from others what they think is wrong. Feel free to ask me anything on religion you like, and I will answer to the best of my ability. Doubtless If Islam is not a religion and it is a cult? Then how about Hinduism? Is it a religion or a cult as well? Hinduism is not centered around a vile personality like muhammed. It is muhammed and his depravity and sickness that makes Islam a cult. Islam is a cult of muhammed.
