Most Muslims come from nonmuslim origin or had nonmuslim ancestors. I am not surprised by this finding.

Didn't Hitler also have a Jewish past?

This is sounding more and more like Hitler's story. It is amazing.

Sometimes truth is weirder than fiction. Ahmadinejad is a Jew who wants to exterminate the Jews and Americans elect a illegal immigrant as their president. The world is a big joke.

When he and other Muslims starting denying the holocaust a few years back and even had conferences about that, it was my understanding that:

Muslims did this because they responded to criticism on them for curtailing freedom of speech. So they looked and looked and then found something that in Democratic countries was forbidden to speak about; denial of Holocaust! So, that's exactly what they started to speak about, proclaiming that the Democratic countries used double standards; that Muslims were reproached for suppressing freedom of speech, about crimes committed by Muslims, while all the time the Democratic countries did "the same thing" by outlawing Holocaust-denial. How do you react to such vile propaganda?

Hitler did not have a 'Jewish past'. The disturbance of Hitler's past in this respect is sourced in the fact that National Socialism had a racial policy of declaring anyone with 'Jewish blood' within eight generations, i.e being 1/16th Jewish was considered non-aryan.

There is some conjecture over Hitler's father's lineage within this time frame. Hitler's father, Alois was illegitimate and possibly the union between Hitler's grandmother and her Jewish employer at that time.

Otherwise Hitler's only contact with Jews was the family doctor and the Jewish charity house in which he was resident as an indigent in pre-war Vienna or Linz. Hitler was Catholic and briefly, a church choir boy in his youth.

Whilst Ahmadinejad's racism is certainly anti-Semitic, and whilst islam is certainly engaged in race warfare against the Jews, I am not aware that Ahmadinejad is a racist in this respect. He met with extremist religious anti-Zionist Jews at his Holocaust denial conference (yes it is quite unbelievable -they all would have lost relatives in Europe. But who ever said Jews are immune from mental sickness?). Hitler would never do this - his race doctrines would never allow it - now, Goering is another matter).

Ahmadinejad knows nothing about history, especially Jews. Whilst there might be a psychological angle to all this, I doubt it. The facts are merely conjecture. There are plenty of 'cohens' around who are not remotely Jewish but who retain this name from a union with a Jewish male in the distant past. The name is all that survives, but these 'cohens' will be as Catholic as the Pope if they happen to be Catholics. Any place with an extant Jewish community from antiquity, like Iran. will run into this sort of thing.

You or rather muslims, typically associate an equivalence between 2 things that are not so. Holocaust denial is not a matter of opinion. If one suppresses talk about islam or the koran one is suppressing a discussion about facts.

muslim 'understanding' of democracy or free speech is that one is permitted to yell 'fire' in a crowded theatre when there is none. They presume free speech is some absolute quantity whose liberties can be abused.

Holocaust denial is not about 'free speech'. Holocaust denial is not an 'opinion'. It is a politically motivated and calculated endeavour to affront Jews and instigate social and political vilification against them. Theoretically, the West no more allows the vilification of Jews than it does the wrongful vilification of any other group - even muslims.

But the West debates the truth of Christianity or Hinduism just as it should and in most cases does debate islam. muslims are upset about the truth this reveals about their creed. Holocaust denial is a counter example of free speech only to the twisted muslim mind. The Jewish religion can be freely dissected and debated by all and everyone who desires to. Jews will be first in line to do this.

But muslims think that rational dissection of their religion is taboo, so they pick some topic they think is taboo in the West and try to draw a false equivalence. Holocaust denial propagates lies and is an attack upon the social fabric. Telling the truth about islam is merely recounting the facts of its disposition and muslim actions on its basis. The former will destroy free society, the latter will likely save it.

One no more would debate with a Holocaust denier than one would debate with someone that earth is not flat. It is a pointless and useless discussion which elevates the counter argument to a dignity which it does not deserve.

ahmadinejad previous surname was sabourjian it means in farsi carpet weaver.
his father changed the name in order to avoid the class strugle in iran,they were a townpeople, poor and uneducated so the father decided to move to tehran ,changing the family name helped them avoid snobbery and discrimination from the residents of the capitol,regardless he is evil and illegitimate president of iran.

I was very upset when Ahmadinejad first started this but was baffled by his logic; "Why is the West not allowing denial of Holocaust if it claims to be for free speech?" I am still a little bit baffled but your arguments are certainly 95 % valid and excellent!

Going back to the Hitler thing, I've just read a book about his early life and his rather incestuous relationship with his neice, Geli. Anyway, it turns out that his Grandmother worked for a non-Jewish family in Graz, Austria, and doesn't have any Jewish blood as the census reports from that time show there were no Jews living in Graz. It has always been wrongly assumed the family she worked for were Jewish, simply because they were a wealthy family. She apparently had an affair with the son who was in his late teens and became pregnant.

What's all this talk about 'Jewish blood'. At the beginning of the first millenium 30 million people lived under the Roman heel. 10 millions of these were Jews!! Extrapolating from this and by this specious measure everyone has some 'Jewish blood'. Jews have been assimilating for 2000 years. The miracle of their survival is another nail in the coffin of islam and those who stand against the will of God.

Hitler's ancestry with respect to a supposed Jewish employer of his grandmother is only one, a very remote possibility out of three. Alois was sent to his step uncle's farm, one Heidler, who was most likely the real father.

There is otherwise no such thing as 'Jewish blood' any more than there is 'Catholic or Protestant blood'. Even if Ahmadinejad came from an unbroken line of Rabbis; he was born into islam, raised in islam and affirms himself in islam. There is nothing Jewish about that. When do we take someone for who they say they are and act as they are? How will an exploration into his lineage mitigate his intentions, his mouthings, his ambitions?

Lineage is only important to race theorists. Race as an anthropological concept is quackery and the preserve of Nazis and lunatics. The human species originates in Africa. Exactly where does this sort of thing get us? Hitler wanted to biologically/racially 'cleanse' the world. Ahmadinejad wants to forceably convert it or blow it up. Granted there is not much difference to live off in terms of their insanity but otherwise they are poles apart.
