Lebanon's Cedars Falling

One by one, the strong Cedars in Lebanon's political forest are giving way to the brutal axe of Islam. The murderers and their managers once again pulled the familiar trigger to chop down 34 year old Christian leader Pierre Gemayel. Syrian Baathists are complicit in this latest political assassination to advance the fight against Democracy (read: non-Muslims) in the Arab world. Proponents of Lebanon's Cedar revolution call for 'no-revenge' and virtually no consequences to this successful elimination of one of Islam's political challengers, and so this last murder will certainly not be the last. This is just the latest product of a people/culture who's so called 'religion' trumps all, including politics, economics, family, and nationality. What's disappointing is that the rest of the world can only offer aghast and shock, as if a disapproving frown can dissuade murderous inclinations of a people steeped in the example of Muhammad and their overdeveloped sense of grandiose preeminence. Instead Islamists only laugh at weak Western expressions of dismay, all the while choosing their next victim. The assassination of Al-Hariri was also widely condemned, but the public verbal condemnations did not matter in the slightest to Hezbollah jihadists nor other like-minded brothers in Syria. Such antics laid the groundwork for Hezbollah's withdrawl from government and planned massive demonstration to bring it down.

The word assassin comes from 'Hassassin', which has the Arabic root 'Hassa' ( meaning to slaughter and exterminate). From 1090 to 1256 AD a particular Shiite secret order in Syria habitually killed their opponents by murder, bearing this title of brutal murder with pride. Assassiyun (translates to 'the faithful' ) is another term used to denote this Nizari sect of Ismaili Muslims who first popularized the idea of political killings to advance their Islamist agenda. The popularly accepted root of assassin is 'hashishin', but that association is probably in error. The Nizari called themselves assassiyun, and would not have been pleased to be called the hashishin because it means "hashish-eater", an insult aimed at despicable men of poor character. Insulting assassins would probably not be good for ones health in any age.

What's significant about this bit of history is that this vile concept of using murder to destabilize governments and promote an Islam's agenda has always been a tool of extremists. The method is likely to continue to be used by those with no heart and no conscience due to its wildly successful use in the past. Like terrorism in all its murderous forms, assassination finds justification in the absolute dictates of Islam and the example of Muhammad. The great prophet was neither shy nor apologetic to employ assassination regularly to eliminate critics and opponents. After 1400 years, the result of that example is manifested in the chief fruits of Islam; Pain, fear, death, terror, and other forms of torture, slavery, and humiliation. Besides such words as assassin, other exports of the political movement called Islam include; suicide bombers, paranoia, poverty, misogyny, honor killings, ignorance, and a host of other characteristics recognized as undesirable by thinking/feeling human beings.

After spending 15 years slowly rising from the ashes of the 1975-1990 civil war pushed on Lebanon by Islamists, the cycle is now repeating itself. Just as foreign and domestic imams and mullahs were opposed to her earlier flirtations with democracy and modern life prior to 1975, so this new wave of open democracy inspires the very undemocratic response of assassination. Anarchy and Civil-war ( and all that comes with it) are preferred to the threat of 'popular government' which denies Islamists their power and wealth. Frankly, assassination must be employed because the ideological poverty which Islam represents would never be adopted without it. Words alone could never persuade a people to accept its precepts, only by force and fear can it compete with less oppressive ways of life. Islam has nothing to offer individuals, families, or communities aside from subjugation, stagnation, poverty, and general misery.

Today the Maronite Christians (27% of the population), the Druze (6%), and other elements opposed to Syrian/Iranian dominance are an increasingly smaller percentage of the population. Now weaker, the coming overthrow of democracy in Lebanon will be much faster than before. Many wealthy and educated non-Muslims have already emigrated desperately seeking opportunity to live life unmolested. The basic method of claiming land for Islam through demographics combined with killing and traumatizing a people to chase away non-believers, is a proven model. Lebanon's Muslims will continue to lust for more and more power they are sure their entitled to, oblivious to how their acts hurt their compatriots and themselves as they cling to their multitude of cultural thinking errors and moral impediments. It's only a matter of time before all competitors in Lebanon are stripped of remaining power and become subservient to Islam's inhumane demands. In the earlier civil war, the Islamists masterfully turned Maronite Christians against each other, against the Druze and, of course, elements of both against the Jews. Division before conquering is a familiar theme, look for a repeat performance.

Tragic as Lebanon's path is today, the future outlook is not much better for inhabitants of Iraq, Iran, Dafur, Somalia, Indonesia, Southern Philippines and Thailand, Malaysia, or anywhere else the Islamists seek dominance by terror and assassination. Instead of being optimistically called the 'Pearl of the Middle East', Lebanon is known more today as a people not quite able to break away from its Syrian masters while also harboring the Iranian proxy army Hezbollah. May a merciful God help the poor children of Lebanon, some of whom will be brainwashed and inducted into terrorist thinking and ways, while others will be hurt, maimed, killed, or enslaved. For that matter God bless children everywhere in proximity of Muslims all around the world facing the same future, absent real resolve to discredit and fight this Fascist plague bringing more collective pain and suffering to the children of men in the last 1400 years than any other ideology at any other time …including Hitler.

As is indicated in the Koran, the mercy of Islam comes only after a great slaughter, and obviously for the practical purposes of enriching the Muslim conquerors in land and slaves. Muhammad demonstrated vindictiveness always and mercy never. Even the contrite adulterous couple racked with guilt who came seeking his forgiveness got the sword instead. The story of Muhammad forgiving the woman throwing garbage at him is pure rubbish, as is proven by his myriad vengeful acts along with the fruits of Islam yesterday and today. Lebanon's non-Muslims, or inadequate Muslims, will receive this same mercy.. And should a Martin Luther King type raises his head to speak out, he will soon enough join Pierre Gemayel, courtesy of the same ideology that brought us that wonderful addition to the English language …'Assassin!'.
