Friends, I have read Kama sutra. It is not a religious scripture, but a great contribution from one of the experts on sex. It talks about the art of love-making, emotions, codes, conduct, and understanding the nature of one's mind before committing to sex. This, as anyone with common sense knows, is a lie made by Amaar Khan. The Kamasutra is a Hindu invenbtion and a Hindu practice. Here is a brief, yet concise history of the Kamasutra:

As we can see from this passage; the Kamasutra was written sometime in the 3rd century. Islam came into being sometime during the 7th century, some 400 years later. So Amaar Khan, did Muhammad have a time machine and travel back 400 years and thousands of miles away in India, to teach the Kamasutra to the Hindus? This argument is idiotic, at best.
‘Interestingly, a number of stories associated with the origin and history of the Kamasutra can be found in the old Indian scriptures. One such theory holds that the Kama Sutra collection was bestowed upon mankind by the doorkeeper of Indian God Shiva i.e. Nandi, the sacred bull. This happened after he heard the god Shiva and his wife, Parvati when they were making love. The episode so inspired the sacred bull Nandi that it made utterance that got later recorded and passed down to human beings for procreation and well-being.

‘Yet another story associated with the Kamasutra history is that it was Indian deity Prjapati, who was long held as god of creation, who declared the 10,000 chapters of the Kamasutra. As we can also see from this explanation, the Kamasutra is believed to be the inspiration of Hindu Gods Shiva or Priapati, not Muhammad or Allah.

Since I was able to prove that the Kamasutra was written about 400 years prior to the advent of Islam in Arabia, I would like to take this argument a step further. Islam was not introduced to Indian society until 629 - 630 AD. The first Mosque was not built in India at about this time. Before I begin I will admit that Islam is a complete guide to live life. It encompasses not only the spiritual needs of mankind, but the physical needs as well. This is why Muslims say that Islam is not just a religion, but a way of life. With this in mind, it is not surprising to find information dealing with the etiquettes of sex and intimate relationships between a husband and wife. Sex is an intrinsic part of human nature and ensures the survival of the human race because of the subsequent pregnancy and birth of offspring that continue the human legacy. If Islam did not address this important and intimate bond between a husband and a wife, man and woman, then it could not be considered a complete way of life.

Foreplay is very important before sex so in Islam it is a must. Especially, French kissing is almost obligatory. Here is the hadith regarding French kisses:
Narrated by Ayesha: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to kiss her and suck her tongue when he was fasting. (Sunaan Abu Dawud: 13: 2380).
Note: Ayesha was about 9 years at the time of her marriage.

My response:

Foreplay is an important factor when speaking about sexual relationships between men and women. It promotes arousal and sets the mood for a sexual encounter. It also acts as a means to ease the tension or nervousness one may feel before engaging in a sexual act. So is there a problem with foreplay? Is it a dirty act? The answer is ‘of course not’, so I don’t know what Amaar Khan is trying to imply here. Secondly, where does it say here, or anywhere for that matter, that French kissing is Wajib or Fard (obligation) on Muslims? If a man and a woman wish to partake in this act it is okay, but if they choose not to, then it is okay as well.

Although Aisha was young, she was the wife of Muhammad. In my first debate with Amaar Khan regarding this issue, Amaar Khan admitted that this type of marriage was common place at the time of the prophet. Also, I was able to prove that this type of marriage was not an Islamic phenomenon, as it was practiced in Europe and Asia as well. Even today, in some countries, it is legal for a man, regardless of his age, to take a bride at a very young age. In our first debate I was able to show that a woman can be legally married to man as young as 12 years of age (Philippines, Cyrus and Mexico, all Non-Muslim countries). In our first debate, Amaar Khan even admitted that this type of marriage was not an obligation put upon all Muslim men and women living today.

My response:

Breast pressing and suckling, like French kissing, is indeed a common act used to stimulate arousal during foreplay. As I mentioned above, foreplay is an important part of the sexual experience, so there is no problem with this act. My only problem with this quotation is that Amaar Khan tries to pawn it off as being a decree that came from the mouth of Muhammad. Thses acts, like French kissing are acts that a man and a woman choose to do. If they wish to indulge in these acts then it is okay, but f they choose not to, then it is also okay. Once again I have to ask if these acts are dirty or taboo? These acts, like French kissing are common practices that stimulate sexual arousal between a man and a woman. Therefore, these acts are accepted as common place in the overall sexual experience.

Coitus interrupts:

Islam has given us best way to prevent children so that slave girls don’t lose their price. The other advantage of coitus interruptus is that time you can save time so that you may move on to the next slave girl.
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported: We took women captives, and we wanted to do ‘azl (coitus interruptus) with them. We then asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) about it, and he said to us: Verily you do it, verily you do it, verily you do it, but the soul which has to be born until the Day of judgment must be born.
(emphasis added) Sahih Muslim Book 8 Number 3373
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) was asked about ‘azl, (coitus interruptus) whereupon he said: There is no harm if you do not do that, for it (the birth of the child) is something ordained. Muhammad (one of the narrators) said: (The words) La ‘alaykum (there is no harm) implies its Prohibition. Sahih Muslim Book 8 Number 3376

My response:

It is indeed interesting that Amaar Khan would quote a Hadith, where Muhamad said explicitly that the act of coitus interrupts is prohibited. Since Muhammad said it is prohibited, we can not attribute this act to a Hadith where Muhammad said it is permitted.

Amaar Khan also makes a false statement here. He implies that coitus interrupts is the best way to prevent children. Anyone with common sense knows this to be a lie because of the presence of pre-ejaculate, which contains sperm and this discharge, can impregnate a woman. Although coitus interrupts decreases the chance of pregnancy, it does not eliminate it. Abstinence is the only fool proof way to prevent pregnancy. In the Hadith you quote, Muhammad was trying to convey this message. In a sense he was saying that you may do coitus interrupts, but if it is meant for a woman to get pregnant, she will get pregnant, since it is a decree from Allah.

Group sex is a very common term in the world of pornography. But it is also a very often used term in Islamic literature. Allah had given our prophet strength of seventy men. Therefore, one of our prophet’s attribute is being “ SuperMan of sex”. He used to have group sex with his nine wives.

Narrated Muhammad bin Al-Muntathir:
on the authority of his father that he had asked ‘Aisha about the saying of Ibn ‘Umar (i.e. he did not like to be a Muhrim while the smell of scent was still coming from his body). ‘Aisha said, “I scented Allah’s Apostle and he went round (had sexual intercourse with) all his wives, and in the morning he was Muhrim (after taking a bath).”
Sahih Bukhari:Volume 7, Book 62, Number 6:
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet I used to go round (have sexual relations with) all his wives in one night, and he had nine wives.

My response:

Once again Amaar Khan is attempting to be misleading. Group sex is not what Ammar Khan implies it is. Group sex is a dirty act in which several people (i.e. a man with multiple women) have sex together, at the same time. The English language has given us a word for this act; an orgy.

As we can see from the hadith Amaar Khan quoted, Muhammad did no such thing. He had separate intimate relations with his wives. He did not have them all simultaneously. The reason Muhammad did this can found within the contents of the Quran. We read:
"If you fear that you will not deal fairly by the orphans, marry of the women, who seem good to you,, two or three or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with them, THEN ONLY ONE or one that your right hands possess. That will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice." (Qur’an 4:3)
"You will NEVER BE ABLE TO DEAL JUSTLY between wives however much you desire (to do so). But (if you have more than one wife) do not turn altogether away (from one), leaving her as in suspense…" (Qur’an 4:129)
Before I explain the meanings of these verses I would like to point out that Allah prohibits us from marrying more than 4 wives at a time (4:3). Amaar Khan claims that Muhammad had 9 wives at one time and this is a bold faced lie. I would like Amaar Khan to provide us with a list of names of these 9 women he says Muhammad had as wives at the same time.
Anyways, the Quran says that if a man has more than one wife, he must treat them equally and deal justly with all of them. This means that if one wife receives a gift, then the man must give the same or equal gift to his other wives, etc. The same pertains to having sexual relationships with more than one wife. If a man has a sexual encounter with one wife, he must also have sexual encounters with all of his wives. If a man feels that he will not be able to do justice to all of them (wives) he should only marry one, as it states in the verse I quoted above.
Amaar Khan says:

Group sex was a holy Sunnah of prophet. Some Sahaba even used to do this practice with mother and daughters at the same time. But Umar did not like that practice and forbade it latter.
Malik’s Muwatta: Book 28, Number 28.14.33:
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utba ibn Masud from his father that Umar ibn al-Khattab was asked about a woman and her daughter who were in the possession of the right hand, and whether one could have intercourse with one of them after the other Umar said, “I dislike both being permitted together.” He then forbade that.

My response:

I want Amaar Khan to show us where it says, in these Hadith he quoted, that Muhammad permitted this act of having sex with a mother and daughter. This claim is nowhere to be found here! Muhammad never practiced this, nor did he promote it and for Amaar Khan to imply this is another bold faced lie.

What the Sahaba did and what the prophet taught are two different things. Muhammad had many followers and it was certainly impossible for him to regulate or observe what his followers did in secret. Also, I wouldlike the readers to notice that the Sahaba asked about it before partaking in it. The Sahaba here did not have sex with a mother and daughter, and then asked to its permissibility. He wondered about it and asked if it were permissible. When he found out that it was not permitted, he forgot about doing it. Nowhere in this Hadith does it say that this type of sexual experience is permitted; to the contrary, this act is prohibited, according this Hadith.

Furthermore, if Muhammad allowed such sexual acts, why would Umar, one of Muhammads closest companions, make such a contradiction by prohibiting it? The answer is that Muhammad forbade it, so Umar forbade it as well.

Amaar Kahn claims that this Hadith speaks about oral sex, but this act is nowhere to be found n this Hadith. The prophet was feeling cold so he snuggled up beside his wife to get warm. Is there a problem with this act between a husband and a wife? Is snuggling with your wife or husband an act that is dirty or taboo? Of course not, as it illustrates the closeness, intimacy and love a husband and wife have towards each other.

If you think this is a western invention, think again. It is mentioned in Islamic literature centuries ago, therefore it is one of the miracles of Islam.
Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3364:
Jabir (b. Abdullah) (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Jews used to say that when one comes to one’s wife through the vagina, but being on her back, and she becomes pregnant, the child has a squint. So the verse came down:” Your wives are your ti’Ith; go then unto your tilth, as you may desire.”
Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3365:
This hadith has been reported on the authority of Jabir through another chain of transmitters, but in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Zuhri there is an addition (of these words):” If he likes he may (have intercourse) being on the back or in front of her, but it should be through one opening (vagina).

Prostitution is a major problem affecting societies all around the globe. Many men seek out the services of a prostitute to fulfill some sexual desire they lack at home. A vast majority of men who go to prostitutes are married and have a wife at home. Why do these married men seek out prostitutes? Many married men look to prostitutes because their sex lives at home, with their wives have become boring or non-existent. I do not advocate going to a prostitute, nor does Islam allow such acts; so what is the solution? Many experts say that ‘spicing up’ your sex life is a way to guarantee that a husband and wife enjoy their sexual encounters. So what is meant by ‘spicing up’ you sex life? Simply put, it means trying new things to see if both the husband and wife receive some level of satisfaction from their sexual encounter. There are, however, sexual acts that are prohibited in Islam, like sexual intercourse through the anus, but there are ways in which we can spice up our sex lives that do not transgress these bounds. Having a sexual encounter with your wife by trying different positions is indeed a way to spice up ones sex life. Trying different sexual positions eliminates the monotony that may arise if a husband and wife have sexual intercourse one way only.

Also, the Jews believe that having sexual intercourse with your wife by any other position except face to face (missionary) would produce children with squinting or crooked eyes. As we know today, this is not true and Allah wanted us to know that this is not true, thus the revelation came down.

So Amaar Khan, is there a problem with this? Is it a dirty act or an act that is taboo? What is the problem if a husband and wife decide to try different sexual positions?

Amaar Khan says:

There are some Muslims, who consider it haram but they are actually strayed people. Because anal sex is not only allowed in Islam but is also practiced by many Sahabas.
Lets quote verbatim from Jami al Tirmidhi [Bab al Tafseer Vol. 2, p. 382, 'Ayat Hars']:
“Ibn Abbas narrates that Hadhrath Umar went before Rasulullah (s) and said ‘Master I am destroyed!’. Rasulullah (s) asked ‘what thing has destroyed you?’. Umar replied last night I had anal sex. Rasulullah (s) did not give a reply to Umar, then Allah (swt) sent down this revelation “Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; the words ‘kabool wa Dhabar’ (the anus is accepted)”
We read in Tafseer Qurtubi Volume 3 page 93 Ayat Hars:
“Fatwas on the permissibility of sodomy with women Saeed bin Maseeb Nafi, ibn Umar, Muhammad bin Kab, Abdul Malik, Imam Malik, a large group amongst the Sahaba and Tabaeen deemed sodomy to be permissible”.

My response:

I want the readers of this to notice how Amaar Khan contradicts himself here. In his former writings he says, with regards to this revelation:

‘on the authority of Zuhri there is an addition (of these words):” If he likes he may (have intercourse) being on the back or in front of her, but it should be through one opening (vagina).’

It is quite clear, from this narration, that the revelation was implicitly speaking about a man entering a woman’s vagina, not anus.

Amaar Khan uses this narration to try and prove that ‘doggy style’ is permitted in Islam, but here he is trying to tell us that the same revelation speaks about the permissibility of sex through the anus. So which one is it Amaar Khan? ‘Anal sex’ and ‘doggy style’ sex are two different sexual acts.

Furthermore, if Amaar Khan quoted the entire revelation, the readers would see that sexual intercourse through the anus is prohibited. The entire verse reads as follows:

“Your wives are your tilth for you, so go to your tilth (have sexual reations with your wives in any manner as long as it is in the vagina and NOT in the anus), when or how you will, and send (good deeds, or ask Allah to bestow upon you pious offspring) before you for your owness.” (Quran 2:223)

The revelation clearly states that you may enter into your wives as you wish, as long as it is not in the anus, and in doing so, ask Allah to give you pious offspring. So how does a couple have offspring? Is it possible for a woman to become pregnant if the man enters into her through the anus? We all know that this is only possible if the man enters into the vagina only.

Lastly, in the Hadith you quote we see the character of Hadhrath Umar, saying to the prophet ‘master, I am destroyed’. Why did he feel this way? He goes on to tell the prophet that he performed sexual intercourse through the anus with a woman. If Muhammad permitted Anal sex, why would Hadhrath Umar feel destroyed for having anal sex? His statement only makes sense if he knew that anal sex was prohibited by Muhammad and decided to partake in anal sex anyways.

Before I answer this I will remind the readers that anal sex or sodomy is an act that is prohibited in Islam. I was able to prove this in the response above.

Once again, Amaar Kahn is being misleading. A dildo is a tool a woman uses to achieve sexual satisfaction or to reach orgasm. In this narration a man says he practiced sodomy (anal sex) with his servant. He then says he had difficulty with penetration so he used a stick for ‘assistance’. He did not use the stick to gain an orgasmic reaction from the woman; he used it to gain anal penetration.
I must say that Amaar Khan should be ashamed of himself. Amaar Khan is from a man who is from Pakistan and he lives there today. The reason I say he should feel ashamed is because it would appear as if he does NOT know the history of his own ancestors. It took a westerner, with no ties to India, to show Amaar Khan the history and origin of the Kamasutra. I know I would feel ashamed if a man from Indian subcontinent, with no ties to Canada, schooled me on Canadian history. Shame on you Amaar Khan!

Also, I have to ask what the purpose of this article is. I want the readers to notice that throughout this rubbish, Amaar Khan implies, but never directly states that Islam permits what he says it permits. He also implies that the sexual acts he describes are dirty or taboo. The reason he implies this and does not directly say these acts are dirty or taboo is because he most certainly has participated in at least one, if not more, of these acts, as all men have done at some point in their life. He would be a hypocrite if he said, for example, French kissing is dirty and taboo, but behind closed doors, he French kisses his wife. This is why Amaar Khan has chosen to imply, instead of directly stating in his article.

The issue of sex is sensitive in nature because most people feel uncomfortable speaking about sex. Amaar khan exploits this feeling by implying that sex and religious affairs should not ‘mix’. He implies that since Islam speaks about sex, there is a problem but this can’t be further from the truth. The language used the Hadith and Quran he quotes is not provocative in any way. Sex is explained in a way that does not cause on to become uncomfortable. The only provocative or titillating language used in this article comes from Amaar khan himself. As I explained above, sex is an intrinsic part of life and guarantees the survival of the human race. One would expect God to reveal such issues on such an important aspect of human life.
