I am no psychologist. I believe you are....very good in understanding people. Now, that is my heart talking, I wish you were kinder to him toward the end brother. I would hate the thought that he takes your advice and kills himself. anyway, I hope he just leaves Islam, and that is good enough for me. Yes, he has faulty logic all over, and showing that to him is good. But telling him you don't care about him, even if he kills himself..I don't know. I am second born, a negotiator by nature, and try to be encouraging and positive when I can. But again, maybe you are doing some psychological "medicine" for him that I know nothing about in the last part of this article.

These people don't know anything (or much, only the good imagined things in Islam) about the Quran or Islam, but were born in it and thus have to stick with it. Most of such people are really scared of hell-fire and dare not leave Islam. They are good at heart but their heart is emotionally attached to Islam. It is these people who are paying for the sins of Islam.

They just choose not to proclaim their apostasy and remain non-practicing Muslims. This is ok. Under present conditions only this much is possible.

Today Islam stands out among all the Evil prevalent in today's world. It is the epitome of Evil. Nothing can be eviller than Islam. Every Evil that you can ever think of, you can find the benchmark in Islam and its prophet.

Dhimmis are making matters worse. And the problem compounds itself because in most of the governments in the world today we have dhimmis calling the shots. Any non-muslim who doesn't see evil in Islam is a Dhimmi and an ignorant fool. They are to be treated at par with the followers of Islam. But at the moment they are in power. So our efforts should be to change this power equation. It will take time. But things will change for the better, in time.

Christians may not exactly follow Jesus. But I am sure Christians or Jews won't blow themselves up in a crowded place.

When I am diuscussing with fanatic atheists in several sites elsewhere they ask me about why a good God will have to burn his people in hell. I always tell them God is not going to burn people in hell but rather people will reject God and burn themselves in hell. Totally agree and that's why I (a Westerner who became a Muslim and then an apostate of Islam&Orthodox Christian) still feel ashamed of myself for having thought myself above the stupid brainwashing I was subjected to. I have no excuses. I was stupid and gullible, I didn't know anything about religion and followed blindly in the footsteps of my husband because the Qu'ran stated that God can't have a son. I used to skip all the unpleasant parts, the violent parts, the contradictions, believing the West was plotting against all Muslims, feeling I was important since Muslims welcomed me with open arms as a white Muslim. It takes courage and honestly to face oneself and come out of Islam. it's painful but probably not as painful as it is for someone who was brainwashed from birth and whose eyes we try to open. You know that I am a fan of yours and very much admire your perseverance in exposing the fallacies of the Qur'an and the whole cult of Islam. I am also an Ex-Muslim, not due to any fault of my own, or my parents or even their parents, but because I was simply born in a Muslim country into a Muslim family. But fortunately for me, I saw the deception early in my life and had the courage to leave the whole thing behind. I have read your eye opening and very scholarly written book several months ago, and continue to learn from your comments on FFI.

What I like to point out here, out of my own experience, and may be as a way of advice to our Muslim readers, is this, that many people see the problems with Islam ' its teachings and doctrines, but are hesitant to let go. Somehow there is shame attached to this idea of saying, ' look, I don't want to follow commandments and directions that are despicable to follow '. In my mind even peaceful Muslims are some how guilty by remaining in the fold of those who do commit these terrible inhumane acts '. As a human race we are 'tribal' . In a tribe people have this feeling that they must not step out of their tribal honor system. Like a Muslim who no longer wants to belong to Islam may think ' what would my parents say ? what would the neighbors say ? how about my friends ? my community ? ' these were the stumbling blocks in my path. Finally I decided that it is more important for me to be truthful with myself than worry about what others thought about my decision.

To my Muslim friends, let me tell you a couple of true stories. A few months ago, after finishing reading your book, I read the book ' Inside the Revolution '.
This is a book about the history of Jihad and all the politics of the Middle-East since the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979. But in couple of places the tears welled up in my eyes as I had to put the book down. In one case in Iraq, the Muslim Jihadist wrapped bombs around a 19 year old young man who was an autism victim and sent him in a market place. Detonated the bomb by remote control. Killed the boy and 60 others. The boy had gone with his parents to shop for food. As the parents were distracted, the boy was sort of kidnaped and set up with a bomb jacket. You know how autistic kids are, trusting and loving. He went along with the terrorist with a big smile and love in his heart. He was blown to pieces. He was so loved by everyone who came in contact with him. In another case 2 mentally challenged women were separated from each other's company and each taken to a crowded part of a market place, wrapped with explosives and blown to the smithereens killing some 80 people. How can people who claim to be so terribly religious do such despicable acts. These are Muslims killing Muslims, not the Jews or Americans . But to use children with autism or mentally slow folks to achieve this end. Of course we read that Ayatollah Khomeini ( Ayatollah means shadow of god !!!, some shadow and some god ) had sent children up to 12 years old in front of the advancing armed forces into the battle field when waring with Iraq as mine sweepers. These kids knew that they would be blown apart with the promise of paradise. So that their bodies wouldn't be spattered all over the fields ( their body had to be sort of in one place for the purpose of easier transportation to the paradise ) they were wrapped in a sheet or a blanket. can anyone imagine for a moment what had gone through these kids minds ? The fear ? Wouldn't they throw up seeing their friend in rows in front of them being blown to shreds ? How could people do such things to hundred and thousands of innocent children ? unless their hearts, minds and souls were demonized ?

I know Muslim friends who ask the same questions I ask, who say how terrible their Ayatollahs, mullahs and Imams are ( which in effect means how terrible Islam is ) and yet when I enter their houses I see a huge Qur'an sitting on a table. Please, you people who know how awful these teaching are, why don't you free yourselves from its hold, its bondage, its spell on your conscious, walk away. Put aside the thought and the excuse of not being able to disappoint friend, relatives or neighbors.

Dear Ali, you know that my eloquence never come close to yours, and you have done your very best, no matter how taxing on your psyche, to guide this young man, David, and whether or not he sees the light is no longer in your hands. The only thing I would add to your advice to him is not to mix issues that are irrelevant with each other. Don't try to compare Islam with other faith, be it Christianity, Hinduism, Bahai, or many others. Clear your mind from other religious confusions and look only at islam as if it was the only religion in the world, and then ask this question, do I want to belong to it ? Does it make sense to kill little children, sick people, defenseless folks . Obviously you don't wish harm to come to him or anyone, but the ultimate responsibility for his, for our actions, our lives is in our own hands.
We have to say ' is this right fro me ? '

At this point I convey my thanks and appreciation for the service you render to so many Muslims by opening their eyes with love, compassion and for those who need it, with reason.

As you know, in many instances we discover the presence/ reality/ integrity/ truth of a doctrine presented to us by comparing it to another, usually it's opposite. For example, we recognize darkness when compared to light. We wouldn't know what is bitter if we didn't know what is sweet. We wouldn't say such and such is a lie if we did not know what the truth was. We wouldn't say such and such is hate if we did not recognize love, and we wouldn't know death if there was no life.

Now, with the knowledge that Islam itself provided us, some 1300-1400 years ago, in Qur'an ( not made up in our times ) through the supposed sayings of Allah to Muhammad via an angel Gabreil ( actually according to a conversation that Muhammad had with his wife Khadije he said that satan has told me to 'recite ', but Kadije said no,no,no, dearest, it wasn't satan who talked with you but Gabriel ! ) and all the Hadiths we can see the darkness, the bitterness, the lies, the hate and the death that is this cult's hallmark. These are what we learn from Qur'an and Hadiths.

My only wish in comments I write on this site, i.e. FFI , is to show the Love of God for His creation, specially towards the mankind. When I read the Qur'an or the Hadiths I see an angry little god, a hateful god, a revengeful god, a stupid perverted god, and if there is any promise coming from him is 'conditional '. If you commit this act of Jihad you go in this paradise with a bunch naked women running around, and don't worry if you don't care for women, for you homosexuals we have provided a bunch of little boys that got killed in the Ayatollah's wars. If you behead the 'infidels ' and ' apostates ' I make for you rivers filled with wine ( now, in the present world if one drinks wine he either gets a good lashing, or chopped hand, the hand holding the cup ) but in paradise, watch out, one swims in pools of wine !!.

Compare Islam with what Jesus said :

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

1 John 4:11
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 4:12
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

There are many more sayings that says God loves us and we should Love one another. Islam's motto is \ kill for god \.

I think I may have read some of Sarah's comments before, but several sympathetic women have come on to the site...I remember a Brooke/Brook....wonder where she went.

It is important that we educate everyone of the evils of Islam...especially women (kaphir women, especially). It is dangerous.

Is your family aware that you are no longer a Muslim? Are you out of the Islamic country you were born? Sorry to get off topic and ask so many questions, but I'm just curious....feel free not to answer because I don't know the extent of your current situation and I would not want to put you at any risk of harm.

I am sure there are many Muslims out there who are mind boggled by all the dangers and cruelty their religion exposes...unaware are some...trapped are others...brain washed...the rest...sad, isn't it?

In response to your question regarding my back ground I don't keep it a secret . My life is an open book, and in God's hand. He is well able to protect me. My birth place is Iran, and some 26 years after leaving Islam I accepted Christ in my life, and that was a long, long time ago.

Though my parents were highly educated, my father was a law professor and an economist, educated in Paris, they never liked the idea that I left Islam and even more upset that I became a Christian. I was amazingly shocked to learn that I was disinherited. I learned of it after my parents died and I found out that everything they had was left to my brother. I got a few of my father's books, guess what, about the life of Muhammad, Ali and all the rest, which I promptly threw away. I did not worry what the rest of my family thought. My decision as who to worship and how was no one else's business but mine and my conscious. And I haven't been in contact with them for 50 years or so, but may be by phone. Besides, those who are alive don't practice Islam anyways. Most sane Iranians don't. Some survey says 70 % don't.

I received my higher educational training in England and in the US, becoming a scientist.

I fell in love with Jesus and became a Christian, like when one falls in love for the very first time with a sweetheart. I had to find out more about him, get to know him better. When ever one wants to know some one who is not around, one goes to that person's closest friends and ask them to tell him about this person. Jesus lived a long time ago, so to find out what sort of a person Jesus was I went to his closest friends and companions, his disciples who wrote the Gospels and other books of the New Testament. I read them over and over and each time I discovered how much I did not know. So I stared reading other books. At times reading 3 or 4 books about him and his teachings all at the same time.

I read all the books written by C.S. Lewis, Oswald Chambers, Watchman Nee, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and many other expositors of the Bible. For example, Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones who was a heart specialist in England and became the senior pastor of The Westminster Chapel in London, has written 14 books only, expounding the first 14 chapters of the book of Romans. He must have about 100 books all written from his sermons.

It is a great joy for me, in my retirement, to enjoy the presence of God all around me, in my friends and who ever I come in contact with. I have many Muslim friends, with some I am so close that their children call me ' uncle ', I love them dearly, they all say what nasty deeds the Muslim politicians are doing and stir up the people to do, but none come out and say ' yes, this is a terrible religion, and I denounce it '. None of them are aware what their Qur'an says or is about, yet they all place the book in an exalted position in their homes. Some have stopped visiting with me because I have sent them articles from FFI, and that's OK by me. Jesus told in a story ( parable ) that some sow the seed, some water it , God gives the increase, and then comes the harvest. He also said ' the fields are golden and the wheat ready for harvest '. So dear friend, people like Sina, yourself, and many others throw out the seeds, some water and the Lord harvests.
