At the end of my previous article posted on 22 June, 2006, and entitled: “Reformation in Islam: “Islam of Mecca” versus “Islam of Medina,” I wondered whether “many other would-be reformers will join the call for making the Meccan Qur’an, the only standard for politics in Islam!” Well, I did not have to wait long. The Tanweer website posted on 25 June an article with this title: “Is Islam a Tolerant Religion?”
