Top ten reasons why sharia is bad for all societies

James Arlandson [Article first appeared in "American Thinker"] Traditional Muslims who understand the Quran and the hadith believe that sharia (Islamic law) expresses the highest and best goals for all societies. It is the will of Allah. But is Islam just in its laws that Muhammad himself practiced and invented? This article says no for ten verifiable reasons. Here are four points you must read, before reading this article:

Undetermined Sex

When Arabs promise to destroy Israel or turn American and European cities into infernos with rivers of blood running along the streets, I don't question their sincerity: as soon as they think they can do it, they will try. In most other matters, I tend to distrust them. I certainly get suspicious whenever it comes to numbers. It's not just because the so-called “Arabic numerals” were in fact invented by Hindus. It's mainly because the Islamic concepts of good and evil can be exhaustively described in a single sentence: Whatever is good for jihad is good, period.

Whoever has said that [old habits do not die easily] was right. To the skeptics or critics who hesitate to consider this saying seriously, I will try to prove its veracity and value by giving two examples.

American Ex Muslim's Testimonial

Editor's note: This testimony was posted on the original FFI site, and was copied here on June 18, 2006. American Ex Muslim I've always been a bit wary of testimonies. It conjures up images of evangelical meetings where member after member stands up to confesses that they too were sinners but have now seen the light! Followed by raucous applause and cries of hallelujah! But I recognise that it serves a purpose. Both for the individual and the reader.

Masjidul Aqsa Thanks the FFI Staff

Masjidul Aqsa Muslims are absolutely certain that Allah revealed Quran through his angle Gabriel to Muhammad and nothing of that is changed. Let us put this claim to the test. There is a hadith that reports Muhammad one night, riode on a winged horse that drove him from Masjidu’lHaram to Msjidu’l Aqsa (in Jerusalem) and from there to the seventh heaven where he was shown the hell and the paradise and then taken to the presence of Allah. This story that is commonly accepted by All the Muslims and is known as Mi’raj is also confirmed in Quran
Intro to “The High Cost of Ignorance”

Ignorance will always ultimately invite both captivity and death.

Just about a week ago, out of Iraq came the news two of our own were seized by masked Iraqis, quickly tried in an Islamic court, and found guilty as charged by the same.

Because of their guilt, they were summarily dealt the order of the court: death by slaughter, according to the law of Allah, which is the law that governs the Islamic Republic of Iraq.
