Good Reasons for Gulf War II

Good Reasons for Gulf War II
Why is Bush preparing for war with Iraq when there is unfinished business with Al-Qaeda? Ex-President Clinton suggested that he settle the terrorist threat first before starting a new war.

I think the two are connected. Bush knows that Al-Qaeda is supported by oil-rich Saudis whose Wahhabi ideology spawns the likes of Osama bin Laden. The Wahhabi version of Islam can be described as religious fascism.

Why burn the world when we can make it a Paradise?

Ali Sina responding to American writer Terrence Robertson's message

Dear Terrence,

Terrence Robertson: America must help Islamic countries to reclaim their own past

This is Ali Sina's second response to Terrence Robertson. Mr. Robertson's second message, at his own request, is not published.

Dear Terrence,

They are all Fascists and Nazis

On the fifth anniversary of 9/11/01, President Bush addressed the nation from the Oval Office of the White House. I listened carefully to his speech, and appreciated his firmness and resolve to pursue the war on terrorism. I did not hear him once utter the word “c.” He had used that expression not long ago in one of his speeches; but was criticized for that by some Muslim organizations in the USA. It was also rumored that the State Department objected to any such labels that would link radical Islamic organizations to either Fascism or Nazism.

Pope Benedict XVI’s lecture at Regensburg University in Germany has caused a veritable tsunami among Muslims. My eyes caught early this week, the title of an op-ed article in the online Arabic newspaper, Al-Sharq al-Awsat, “ The Vatican’s Pope Encourages Extremism.”
