Why Not the Best?

For years, presidents of both parties have pledged to ensure that America fields a military second to none. A successful test last week of a truly transformative technology affords Barack Obama an opportunity to help make that pledge a reality. Unless Mr. Obama swiftly orders the Pentagon to change course on the remarkable Airborne Laser Test Bed (ALTB) program, however, his legacy on defense preparedness will be one of empty rhetoric and increased danger for our country.

 

What brought you here?: 
Is every effort being made to bring to bear the Airborne Laser system's ability to perform boost-phase intercepts?

The US, UK and EU See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil Regarding Radical Islam

Lots of news last week: Haiti’s earthquake, Scott Brown’s victory, the Pentagon report on the Fort Hood Massacre, and the beginning of the Geert Wilders trial in Holland. Three out of the four stories pertain to Radical Islam. Only Haiti doesn’t, but it and the Massachusetts election drowned out coverage of the last two stories.

 

What brought you here?: 
If we would just look up to see the monster - radical Islam - we could defeat it. The scary part is that most of us simply refuse to look up.

If one goes by the Pentagon's recent report on the Fort Hood terrorist attack, the Pentagon's PC putzes wouldn't recognize a Muslim terrorist if one jumped up and bit them on the butt. So in the interest of national security, I have collected some statements made by folks over the years, which might point the Pentagon in the right direction. One lives in hope – the poor dears are awfully slow on the uptake, though.

"Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Qu'ran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth."

Only recently have I become aware of the depths to which political correctness has permeated our culture. I knew it was bad, but I didn’t know how bad. It’ll be the ruin of us if we don’t kill it and comb its nits out of our hair.

Muslim Barack Hussein Obama told the world that the incident was engineered by an “isolated extremist.”

What incident?

That planned by a Muslim murderer potential who was out to destroy human lives by blowing up an airplane.
