Fighting Islamist ‘Lawfare’

Steve Emerson

Federal courts are slowly becoming a new battlefield in the war on terror, with combatants setting aside traditional weapons and arming themselves instead with domestic and international laws. Responding to this phenomenon, the inaugural meeting of The Lawfare Project convened last week in New York to discuss The Use of the Law as a Weapon of War.

What brought you here?:
In the fight for Islamic supremacy, the jihadists are using our own laws against us. It's time to fight back.

Muslim Rights and Wrongs

Daniel Greenfield

Over the last decade, the treatment of Muslims has dominated discussions about human rights in Europe, the United States and Israel. Whether it's Jihadis seized on the battlefields of Afghanistan, domestic terrorists plotting death and destruction in London, Ramallah or Jersey City, asylum seekers from the coasts of Australia to England, or your regular old Abdul or Hamid who may be a law-abiding citizen or a fanatical mass murderer in waiting – the Western human rights debate over the last 10 years comes down to the treatment of Muslims.

Gadi Adelman

Muslim-American groups are supporting a “fatwa” – a religious ruling – forbidding Muslims from going through body scanners at airports saying that the body scanners violate Islamic law. In a statement on February 9th, the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) asked that scanner software be altered to produce only an outline of the body and urged Muslim travelers to avail themselves of alternative pat-down searches. (The term "fiqh" refers to Islamic jurisprudence.)

What brought you here?:
A "fatwa" has been issued banning Muslims from being subjected to the use of full body scanners at airports. Where do we draw the line between religious freedoms versus safety?

THE imam of a Stoke-on-Trent mosque has appeared before a court accused of committing serious sexual offences with two young boys.

Mohammed Hanif Khan, aged 41, is a leader at the Capper Street Mosque, in Tunstall. Yesterday he appeared before North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court, sitting in Fenton, to be charged with five offences.

Islam is a Trojan Horse

Amil Imani

“Europe will be Muslim in a dozen years,” promises the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Supreme Guide (dictator) who is racing full-speed ahead to make as many bombs as possible with long-range missiles capable of delivering their payload anywhere in the world.

What brought you here?:
The way in which permissive, oblivious, and well-meaning free societies are reacting to the onslaught of Islamofascism does not bode well for liberty.
