The US, UK and EU See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil Regarding Radical Islam

Lots of news last week: Haiti’s earthquake, Scott Brown’s victory, the Pentagon report on the Fort Hood Massacre, and the beginning of the Geert Wilders trial in Holland. Three out of the four stories pertain to Radical Islam. Only Haiti doesn’t, but it and the Massachusetts election drowned out coverage of the last two stories.

 

What brought you here?: 
If we would just look up to see the monster - radical Islam - we could defeat it. The scary part is that most of us simply refuse to look up.

JERUSALEM -- Israel's defense minister on Sunday ordered his office to triple the number of construction inspectors in the West Bank to enforce a new settlement freeze declared by the government, while settler leaders vowed to defy the edict.

Pope Benedict XVI’s lecture at Regensburg University in Germany has caused a veritable tsunami among Muslims. My eyes caught early this week, the title of an op-ed article in the online Arabic newspaper, Al-Sharq al-Awsat, “ The Vatican’s Pope Encourages Extremism.”
