On Christmas Day, 23-year-old Nigerian national Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab boarded a Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines plane in his home country with the intent of killing 278 passengers and crew members aboard. The Associated Press reported that he was on a U.S. terrorism watch list, but he wasn’t on the “no fly” list.

 

How can this be?

 

What brought you here?: 
Doesn't it make sense that if someone is suspected to have terrorist ties, he should not be allowed to fly on a commercial airliner, let alone be given a U.S. visa?

At least 40 people were killed and 83 injured on Friday when suicide attackers stormed a mosque near army headquarters in Pakistan's Rawalpindi city spraying bullets on hundreds of Friday worshippers, including military personnel, and hurling grenades before blowing themselves up.

Muslims killing Muslims is not a novelty. Muhammad the prophet of Islam burned a mosque and killed everyone inside it because of the rumors that those Muslims were practicing a heretic version of Islam.
